Anybody found the pump was quiet to start with but has got very noisy? I believe my partner has kept the level correct (well above the pump). It is now pretty loud, probably too loud for the cat to use I think!

It's been out for 15 minutes and I've already caught my cat drinking out of it! It's rare to catch him drinking. A roaring success I'd say, thanks OP

Yes fam, my cat only seems to want to drink running water, be it from the taps of the solar fountain in the garden!

Needed a new one as my plug burnt out. It gets very hot. Anyone else find this?

One of the reviewers said the previous model had a inferior transformer. I guess we will see!

Awesome thanks for posting! I had been looking at one of these (either this one or the other style) and am glad I held off. One thing I have noticed is that people report the power adapters breaking apart - so do ensure you always turn off the socket before unplugging it just in case.
Another tip - always keep your cat's water located away from the food bowls, they think of water near their food as 'contaminated' and prefer other sources. I'm not sure if a fountain next to food overcomes this, but I imagine away is still better - although I expect many people don't have a power socket near their cats bowls anyway.

I have a more tradition looking fountain and wouldn't be without it. I'm sure it stimulates my cats to drink more so I never have to worry about them just eating dry food with this next to their bowls. I wouldn't want to drink stale water so why should they

Anyone any idea on the noise level of this? We have a catit blue fountain and it's quite buzzy at times

Very quiet until it gets low on water when it starts to make a bit of noise. Good signal to top it up!

Amazon removed their price promise years ago, though often refund if you ask. Failing that, buy another and return the 'original'.

Really good price. Am on our third dome water fountain. Must say that not impressed with the latest dome fountain, the changed the motor to a smaller version and I think it sits higher up as it keeps making a noise as though it has too little water running through it, so I have wedged something under the fountain sits at an angle, not ideal. Bought it for the same reason originally sir didymus. The cat still likes a drink from a tap, it's just the way some cats are. i am yet to come across a vet who doesn't recommend a water fountain.
One word of advice with these things is although they have a reservoir please change the water out daily and make sure they are cleaned regularly, that includes dismantling the pump. Defo heat given, and just wondering if it's worth having the stress of DHL delivering here again.
Grrrrrr. I'm going to order one at this price, it would be rude not to.

Amazing price. I have been using a catit fountain for a few years and this is actually quite well built.

Amazing price cut. I've seen this and similar ones before and had my eyes on it. My cat usually only wants to drink direct from the water taps but this fountain is cheap enough to perhaps see if I can change it's mind and let it become independent.

Hopefully it will stop my cats having a bath in their water bowl!! Some good deals on other catit products, I also bought the cabrio carrier for £22. Gutted as I paid £30 for one last week.

Been after one of these for a while so glad I accidentally clicked on a link they sent me from a few weeks ago when this was on offer for £17.50. Checked a price tracker and this only went down today and is the lowest they've ever sold it for.
