At least the poo in the garden can be used as manure. Not as bad as filthy dog poo lying in wait on the pavement or in a parks grass for an unsuspecting shoe to slide on. Oh the joy of finding a suitable stick to pick it out of your shoe tread. Never seem to have that problem with cat poo as they seem to mostly confine it in back garden bushes.

I keep telling my moggy he's supposed to do his business in the neighbours' gardens not his own but he's too idle to make the extra journey. :disappointed:

Cats are domesticated hunters, they're just following their instincts, as do we.
Cats are the most cruelly harmed pets by neighbours just read stories of poisoning by antifreeze or shooting by air rifles, what loving pet deserves that?
Yes it's "just a cat" but to most people a pet is a member of the family, mine is and he's happier curled up on the sofa than being outside, no catflap here, I wouldn't trust spiteful neighbours to let him out unsupervised.

Must be from the cat lovers gardening book . Human , cat or dog (or any carnivore/omnivore) excrement should not be composted . Horse ,cow etc leavings are fine  which is presumably why horse riders don't have to clear up after their "pets" !

Cat poo used as manure  I'm sure you are not a gardener or horticulturist - You can't even compost it ! I presumed everyone knew that !

I suspect you are able bodied, but haven't the time to properly look after a pet , but have a catflap so your "pet" soils neighbours gardens and decimates the local bird population . But its nice and cuddly when it comes back through the catflap to be fed and lie on the sofa
