Thanks OP. I already bought one some time ago and am on my second strap. Brilliant watch at a brilliant price, I just bought the wife one. Have some (more) heat.

You can reword it. Suitable for smallish wrists.

I have one for working and golfing but one word of caution - not suitable for largish wrists.

Yes, the difference is clear!
...the hairy arm is the same lady before waxing!
I'm not knocking the watch, I have had one as a "Work" watch for more than ten years, and five or six straps!
It is an excellent timepiece and very light on the battery, the biggest problem is the fact that the resin straps "age" and harden quite quickly and can be hard to find replacements for.

That link states that the case dimensions are 38.8mm x 33.8mm x 7.8mm (H x W x D)
The actual case diameter is 34mm, not 38.8mm, more suitable for young children, ...not really for yer granddad ...unless he's a bit dainty!

It's likely that they're counting at its widest point rather than the main round dial, but the difference isn't much between those measurements, but yes it's not designed as a chunk of a watch
Anyone own/have owned this watch who can give a mini expert review?

Well I got it for my dad and it looks fine on him. I don't think he'd appreciate being called dainty, he's average male size and build.

Thanks OP Great price. I wear one, I am a 3 x Grandad and not in the least bit dainty, these are a cracking watch. Easy to see at a glance, so light you hardly notice it, unlike my stainless steel Seiko which I no longer wear.
Damaged some good watches over the years, going from desk to site and forgetting what was on my wrist.
For the bits of DIY I do now (Fencing Decorating Car servicing) this has lasted 4 years and I have a spare if needed.

You can see it on a male and on a female wrist in these pics at The Watch Shop for comparison - but it looks good to me. What do you think?
