18 megapixels
Sensor size and type: APS-C / 22.3 x 14.9 mm CMOS sensor
Standard ISO range: 100 - 12800
Built-in WiFi and NFC
3" / 76.2 mm tiltable LCD screen
Includes the 15-45 mm f/3.5-f/6.3 IS STM Zoom Lens
Plus the excellent EF-M 22mm f2 STM Lens
Seems a good price with the additional 22mm lens (normally £179 on it''s own).
Deal is still available as is cashback. Not sure why it's been expired?

Would this be any good for a newbies first "proper camera"?
I've been waiting for the Lumix DMC-FZ200 to come back into stock but times running out :disappointed:

Depends on what you are looking to take photos of?
The FZ200 is still available and is a good camera for telephoto work with it's 600m f2.8 lens. The M10 is great as it has a APS-C size sensor (much larger than the FZ200) and has changable lenses which you can purchase as required. If you want to learn about photography then one of the Fuji's (such at the X-T10) would be an excellent choice as it has seperate aperture and shutter controls, allowing you to see the results in the viewfinder, without taking your hands off the camera.

You are quite right, which is probably why it's a bit cheaper than elsewhere.

The warranty would only be valid if purchased from an authorised seller on a UK lens. Canon wouldn't honour the warranty on an eBay purchase from a non authorised seller.

I hindsight maybe I should have sold it for more but I generally sell stuff for what I think is a fair price. I also sold my EOS-M for £179 with an unused Eos lens adaptor.

Amazon's price has gone up to £280 for the M10 + 15-45 mm. Only £49 more now for the 22mm F2 as well.

The 22mm lens is excellent (got mine for £65 on ebay a while back). I'd get the camera just for that lens.

why did you sell it so low? seems 99 is the lowest and they can get higher

I was referring to a new one with warranty - cheapest you can buy a new one for (currently) is £159.

Agree, I would keep the superb 22mm f2 prime and sell the zoom.

Good value for money, but the poor performance when it comes to moving subjects is a deal breaker for me. The only csc camera at the cheaper end of the scale that seems to tick that box is the Sony A6300 but that's way more money.

what does the a6300 have specifically over the a6000/a5100 for moving targets?

The 22mm f/2 is a near-perfect lens, streets ahead of the kit and almost worth buying an EOS-Mx in itself.
since the pancake lens is a bundle in this deal, I assume that if you re-sell it on eBay, it has to go into 'used' or 'new other' category, then you look into its sold history, you will find the effective price range for the this lens.
IMO £80 -100 is the price you are looking for to buy or sell on eBay.
That's why i said it's good deal if you want to keep the lens and make use of it, and it's on par with £229 amazon bundle if you don't want the 22m lens because you spent less and got what you really need, you avoided the possible ebay selling hassle, also it's not hard to find a 'like new' one on eBay for around £100 if you decide to get one in the future.
to add: it's a good deal if you are after the white colour, same price. but i will double check if the bundled pancake lens is also in white colour because the picture on its website isn't, quite urgly tho if it isn't.
A bit of a strange deal IMO. 15-45 mm already includes 22mm in it's range so the 22mm lens is more or less redundant. I wouldn't recommend this deal for that alone. Sorry, but cold from me.

It's not always about range, the 22mm is a prime lens with much lower aperture (faster in low light)

That is a good deal, as you say, the f2 lens is £179. Now, do I need another camera....
