I had Carma 2 on PC in the 90s. Really good game, Iron Maiden on the soundtrack...I remember there was a character called Jenny Taylia....
Anyone know if this is coming out on PC?

It's recently come out on PC. I quite enjoy the game, probably for nostalgia, but there's some fun to be had for sure. Also bear in mind this started from a Kickstarter, they didn't do too badly. Sorry enough fanboying.
And yes, the game got me into Iron Maiden. Forever thankfull for that.

Rented this game and glad I didn't buy it. Nostalgia is wonderful, reality bites! Terrible reboot of the game that's not worth even this price. Fingers crossed the devs made enough money to do a better job next time

HONEST REVIEW TIME
I'm a huge Carma and Carma 2 fan, and if you could put up with the flaws of those games, you definitely will with this. The cars still handle like garbage, and the upgrade token system is so flawed that you'll bumble through and spend your cash on mending your car until you're on a level where you'll find literally 45 tokens scattered across the place.
There are a lot of nice touches - buying weapons (Pelvic Thrust is invaluable for the cost, especially in Car Crusher matches), hidden bonuses, etc. Game modes are varied throughout. The sense of humour (whether you liked it or not) is still there.
Ultimately, it doesn't look great, you can't really turn corners, some of the game modes are a bit rubbish, but Classic Carma matches are as great as they ever were. It's far from world class, but for under a tenner, it's great.

looks ok the driving seems so slow thou and the turning corners . Pees say it isn't about turning but come on would it be that hard for developers to make the handling better

I'm watching gameplay on Youtube and, you know what, it doesn't look half bad to be honest. Looks very much like the original 90s version! For a tenner, you surely can't go wrong. The game was never about the handling, it was about mashing the other cars and taking out pedestrians

I remember this on N64 and for a quick 10 minute game it was great.
For £10, it's basically a bit of light entertainment and nostalgia. It's never going to score 90% in 2016 but if you understand what you're getting (ie: a mindless 90s smash up with better graphics and animation than the N64) then it's a great deal.
Be realistic with your expectations - this is not going to beat Drive Club and it's not for anyone under 30 probably.

Loved it in 97 on pc, and the recent android release convinced me it's still got some life in the old game yet.
Considering this appears to be more of the same with shiny graphics, it's worth a punt under 10 quid.
Anyone who isn't sure what this is, probably best to leave it. It's probably not gonna be what you expect. If you liked it in 97', chances are you'll like this now.

No I know that. I had it in my basket and just as I was about to purchase it said my basket was empty and the product page was to pre-order rather than add to basket.
Seems to be fully back in stock now so i've no idea what happened.

It's still in stock, I thought it was out of stock but the sold out bit is the name of the publisher or something, I've just bought one.

Both showing as available when I go to the link
Don't be confused by the fact it's made by "Sold Out Publishing"
The game is horrible. If they release the original one with upscaled graphics it would be 10x better than this. If you liked the original, I would probably steer away from this.
As stated by galgor you're better off getting the port.

Eugh just missed it on PS4.. was going to be a good stocking filler.
Edit: I ordered as 'Back-Order' anyway in case anyone cancelled or whatever; it went into my preorders and 15 minutes later the order was completed.

I might even bite at this price. I LOVED the original on PC all those years ago (god I feel old!). The more recent versions haven't been received very well, but surely it's got to be worth a look at this price!
