Juse found that if you put them both in your basket and go to checkout online it takes off the price of the earbuds for you.
This is currently a hidden Philips promotional offer at Argos that is not advertised on their websire etc but is still active in store.
Buy the Philips ANC Bluetooth headphones at the reduced price of £49.99 and receive a pair of Philips Action Fit Bluetooth Wireless Earbuds valued at £24.99.
Check them both out online: Headphones item No. 552/9445
Earbuds item No. 558/3962
Even the cashier didn't realise this deal was active but once I asked her to check she checked and confirmed it is.
The headphones get great reviews and although £49.99 is £10.00 more expensive than the deal posted the other day for the same headphones you do make this up with free earbuds valued at £24.99.
Could be a fantastic last minute present or stocking filler for someone. If it helps, the Promotional Offer for the earbuds on my receipt is listed as 22386-0-00
Please note item 552/9445 has previously been on sale at £34.99 !!

Willing to wait, Have some Klipsch Reference wired headphones that are more than adequate. Would like a new Bluetooth pair, as the Sony 330BT I have aren't as good as the Klipsch.
Thanks for the feedback. I have my heart set of them, just needed someone to remind me of that, and not waste money on these (as good as the deal is).
Backed well away from this particular set of Philips. Did not realise they are the 8750, and not the 8850 (which a friend - and reviewers says are quite good). Reviews of the 8750 aren't as good in comparison.

Good deal. Don't need the earbuds though so would've preferred the lower price without the hassle of getting to sell the earbuds

Makes no difference to this deal. You get two good quality items for approx £25 each if you split the cost in half. Not bad when the earbuds are actually reduced from their original price of nearly £30. That means you could look at the ANC headphones costing approx £25, still £10 cheaper than the previous low price of £34.99. It's all about figures and how you interperet them, still a very good deal though and having charged them up and tested them I can now say they actually very good.

I have these they are decent quality not very loud and not very heavy bass...
They feel really cheap because they are plastic but that means they are very light so go for sport.
I would never have bought these at 90 however...

Don't think it was the same deal as there was no mention of the free earbuds in the OP's listing, that listing was for the headphones only although some buyers found out later the hidden deal included the earbuds.

Quick question. I've created a dilemma.
The AKG Y50BT occasionally drop to £79.
If you didn't care for the free earbuds (or ANC wasn't a priority)...and wasn't in desperate need for Bluetooth headphones (I've got a pair of Sony 330BT which are ok), would you wait and pay the extra £20 for the AKGs?

It's not £20 extra. It's £30 difference against this, and If you dont care about the free buds you would stick with the £39.99 deal and that means there is a £40 difference. Up to you whether it is worth that difference

The Y50BT have various awards in their category from various places (What Hi-Fi etc..) for the last couple years as far as I can tell. Researched a lot and tried the AKGs on in Richer Sounds twice. Sounded great but too loose on my small head even at smallest position!
Real pain as I had basically decided they were worth the difference.
As someone mentioned above though, it's whether you want to pay the extra- and also wait for them to drop to your desired price! £109 I think currently on Amazon.

it was the same deal the other day (headphones and sports headphones) but was 39.99. same things but for £10 more. But still think it is worth it as think 39.99 was a short lives error but they honoured it ( I know as I got it)

Was previously on sale for £34.99 (and I think £39.99 just a few days ago...) and probably will be again in the Boxing Day sales. If the promotion is still on until then it might be worth holding out for them.

Typo. Meant £30. Which long term isn't a great deal if it meant you're getting a better sound (which was the jist of my question).
It more a question for anyone passing by who was willing to give advice on either product (as you get from time to time). To help me make the right decision on whether or not it's worth it.
Impossible to stick with the £39.99, no? It's expired and replaced with this? Unless you have a link?

They are still part of the ActionFit series - as it says on the box. I beleive this is part of the series that has secure fitting especially made for sports as they are more secure in the ear.
