I think it's hard to say which lot of these lot are better (Woodford, Makers, Bulleit, Buffalo Trace etc) It's much easier to just say that they're all very good

Great price for the Orange label but have supplies. Went for the Green label Rye as I've not tried it yet, couldn't resist at £22.99. Heat

The Rye is nice, different from the Bourbon obviously, I detected a slight hint of cherry in it when i tried it leading me to think it'd be awesome in a Manhattan with Luxardo cherries to garnish. I'll find out a Xmas cos I've bought both to help me celebrate
Also, was lucky enough to grab a Rittenhouse 80 proof Rye yesterday for £20.49 from Amazon, absolute steal at that price! I've tried the 100 proof and loved it so really looking forward to that

OK stuff nothing special, in the whiskey shop at Nottingham this is £40
Amazon had FORBIDDEN purchase at all last week @ £20 because I was not prime member!!! so this is a win. :-)

Nice bourbon at a nice price  I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a price drop on Wild Turkey 101...

Great price, already have plenty in the cupboard but could be tempted with another. Don't see the Rye as often in the shops, it's very enjoyable also. :man:

This stuff is the best for money (around £25 mark)... espcially at this price! Heat

Is it better than the no1 seller (woodford reserve)?

Have you tried Buffalo Trace? That for me wins the "around £25" category

Never seen this cheaper than £20 much better than JD.

JD isn't bourbon though, it's sour mash. It's only any good as a mixer IMHO, don't know how anyone can drink it neat. Their Gentleman Jack on the other hand...

Deed is done, another bottle on the way. Less than £20 it's a winner. For commenters above, Woodford Reserve and Maker's Mark are both good in the around £25 category also.

Currently going through a bottle of that, absolutely wonderful stuff :sunglasses: Picked it up from Amazon a couple of month back for £24.99

Single Barrel is quite nice, though overpriced for what it is.

Awww dang it I was trying to reduce to my bourbon purchases :disappointed::disappointed: This is a great price, voted hot.
I got it for £16.49 last December from Amazon, but as my time machine is currently out of action, I'll happily pay £17.99 for this excellent bourbon. I prefer bulleit to evan williams, four roses, and buffalo trace but I can't decide which is nicest out of bulleit, makers mark, knob creek, and woodford reserve... if anyone is after recommendations, mine would be to buy a bottle of each of those lol

Jack Daniel's silver select is the one to try, although it's rarely less than £50 it's far better than Single Barrel and Gentlemen Jack.
I tried this recently, and whilst I'm a fan of Whisky and Bourbon, this did not go down well. Found Wild Turkey 81 much more enjoyable for example. This seemed a bit rough.

Wild Turkey 81 is a mixing drink IMO, really good in a bourbon and coke, not so good neat. Bulleit is anything but rough, maybe you're just into the lighter whiskey's?
