Thanks! - Great deal. I would rather purchase from Amazon than Currys any day. There is no comparison with regards to after sales service.

Bit confused here, I have a router downstairs, however, I need something to extend something to get better range for the computers upstairs. There's no phone upstairs, but plenty of power plugs. I guess this isn't it?.

You just need to pair this with your router then plug it into a socket upstairs. then switch whatever device your using to this extension.

note. you can't match the ssid name if that matters to anyone else. no good if you have sonos as this causes an issue (you can technically change it but it broadcasts on same channel so not great)

So I need two plugs?.
One for downstairs to plug to the router, and another plug upstairs?.

No, this plug links wirelessly to your router.

OK I get it, so plug it upstairs and then pair it. However, how do I pair it?. DOn't I need to type in the passwrod for the router?.

Don't range extenders kill Wifi speeds?

There will be instructions.

Just plug it into a socket next to your router and press the pair button, then move it to a socket upstairs.

I currently have a net gear extender and personally don't rate them I much prefer powerline adapters but hey just personal preference and something to research

These really don't work very well. I got some for my dad as I assumed they'd pair well with his BT router, but the speed and range is really poor.

Would this suit any wifi or only for BT. I with vodafone, Wifi doesn't work well in the rooms though all on ground floor. Costing extras on phone data charges.

BT is just the make of these. They can be used with any Wi-Fi connection regardless of your internet provider.
