as with everything sold on Amazon  I usually check the reviews on the .com to see if they balance.
Anyone have one of these?
Thinking of trying another electric, tried a Philips rotary a while back and did not like so its between a Braun or a Panasonic.

I have one of these. Before I bought I read the reviews which were a mix of good and bad. Usually I would not purchase if there are more than a few bad reviews but ive had braun shavers for over twenty years so couldn't really see it being that bad.
Really glad I bought it as ive found it to be great. No electric shaver shaves as close as a blade but I personally find braun shave the closest. I tried about half a dozen different makes a few years ago and I found braun were best.

I bought one a while back and it's a rubbish, very ineffective shaver. Save up for something better. At £99 it would be completely over priced.

I would agree, probably one of the worst shavers I've ever had... my old Philips rotary electric one was much better. Currently using a Philips Oneblade and loving it so far, no irritation and a really smooth enough shave.

Happy to buy another Braun shaver. I can shave with a remington rotary and then the braun will take even more off. My current one is now 11 years old (previous one saw nearly 14 years), used every day and the battery is only just starting to show signs of getting old.
This new one will be ready and waiting for that fateful day.
Just to add to the comment about NUS code, when on the extra site search for amazon and a promotion will show for 55% off braun products. Because this is already discounted you will just get the additional £1.50 off.

I've got 2 of these 3 series version. One of the motors are looking like it's giving up (after 2-3 years?) so shave needs to take a little longer.
I use one for travel and one for home.
It's quite close shave, I can't get on with rotary ones, I've had a few expensive rotary ones before and just couldn't get on with those.
Battery lasts ok, ~2 weeks on a 2-3min run per?
I have thick but sparse facial hair, annoyingly in weird angles sometimes.

Do you know what is the difference between this one and the Braun Series 3 3080? The 3080 is more expensive but I cannot see a difference
