Bowmore is my favourite distillery and this is a decent expression at a fantastic price. If you like scotch and have never tried a bowmore or peated Islay then I highly recommend you try this.

According to my other half, Bowmore 15 is the absolute sweet spot. I've not found it for under £45 a bottle (and that's on a super deal) more like £50-60. Anyone tried both and can advise how this one compares to the 15 which is my boyfriend's favourite whisky...still a few days left to win girlfriend of the year award if I turn up with a nice bottle hehe!

The 15 goes for close to £40 on Amazon lightning deals (£41.49 IIRC)...
Can't help but feel this would be a disappointment in comparison and I'd have to keep thinking "well, it's not bad for the price", which isn't a reason to buy ;-)

Bowmore's mix of Islay peat and sherry casks is exceptional though I must admit I find some of their younger / NAS bottlings a bit harsh.
Any feedback/comments on this one? - can't find much online from my typical set of 'trusted reviewers'

If the previous posting was 3 weeks ago then this is more than worth a repost. Whisky posts from that long ago are usually expired and on the 3rd or 4th page.

Ah, don't be put off opting. Not everyone sees every post, but perhaps to avoid (Unecessary) ire, do a search before posting. Have some heat, I hadn't seen it either.
