Would love to get this but can't get the black and copper one, Which looks the best to me personally. :disappointed:

Also sounds best when placed with its rear to the wall/solid object

Yup, in the corner of a room seems to work quite well.

Had one of these in a Novotel we stayed in recently, amazing sound and good for streaming from YouTube etc (which my Sonos doesn't do!)

One of my best purchases ever!
The bass is amazing, sound quality is unbelievable, it travels almost everywhere on hols with us, battery life great, soooo easy to pair up and get the tunes going!
Highly recommended

Wow, the difference is quite marked, I have the JBL charge 2 and it also sounds superior to this Bose.

Brought one of these a few weeks ago. Works great as a sound bar for the TV. Can connect a number of devices to it. Think six in total so don't have to disconnect if someone else wants to use it.

I got the dixons heathrow duty free to pricematch the amazon deal. With double the difference it came out to £126
What's the overall sound like? People say how good the bass is, but what about the treble and mids?
I bought an Anker speaker a while as everyone was raving about how great it sounded and how bassy it was. They were right about the bass, but the mids and treble are both pretty bad.

anker (a3143?) is nowhere near this bose speaker. bose wins in every department. bass mids and trebles. they there when needed.

Tried one in Costco and couldn't believe how powerful and bassy it was for its size.

For sound quality every review i've seen puts the Bose as the best. It isn't quite as rugged as something like the UE though so you'll probably want a case for it.
I bought a cheap carry case and clear case on ebay since they looked near identical to the Bose ones.

good sound for size, however can be temperamental and buggy. Not worth the pricetag

Massive thanks op. Just saved me £17 on daughters xmas present
I have this and a Sonos1, the Sonos sound is much better but the Bose does sound great and can be moved around and taken outside, so if it was staying in the same spot, sonos hands down wins but if you want to take it in the bathroom, garden, holiday..Bose gets the upper hand

Good speak for sound and size. I have had one for six plus months. Can be charged via micro USB or the charge plate.
Took mine on a weeks holiday and didn't need to charge it once.
I have the SoundTouch 10 as well and I personally like the sound from the mini II more than the ST10.
I think it's worth the money.

Had the "v1" version - absolutely loved it, except for the small little detail of not being able to switch off the "auto turn-off" feature, which was a bit tedious given I used the speaker as my main TV sound output. Problem got solved on this "v2" version - ordered. Good deal.

Excellent product. I have had mine for 2 years (1st version) and it has travelled many places with me.
it gives out a surprising volume and has good bass.
I would suggest buying the Bose carrying pouch if you plan to put it in a suitcase!

They are absolutely brilliant. I have one myself, and the sound quality is impressive for a tiny bluetooth speaker. Deffo worth the buy
