I'd pay 1p to go the other way to avoid Currys, in fact, make that £10

One of the best ANC headphones, if not the best. Well worth it at this price!

How would these compare to the Sony MDR-1000x
PS. I'd buy from UK company like Currys for 1p more rather than support a foreign company (and also happens to avoid a lot of UK taxes too).

I haven't heard either but from what I've read, Bose's ANC is still the best. Sony may have better SQ though.
EDIT: Oh and I don't think the Sony's are as comfortable as the Bose QC35's.

I wouldn't mind paying 20 more for Amazon's customer service

They are also on Amazon Prime for the same price so if your post code is covered you can have them delivered on the same day within a 2 hr window.

Yeah just reading up on them now, can't believe neither support aptx or aptxHD and Sony is just using it's own alternative called LDAC which only works with other SONY LDAC products.

I have these, and they are fantastic. Crystal clear sound, so comfortable you don't realise they are on and the ANC is unlike anything I have experienced before (its very intelligent stuff).
On the other hand, the Sony MDR-1000x are also a great buy. They lack the comfort of the QC35's due the ear cup shape/padding and are ever so slightly heavier, but their sound is better in the bass department. But it has to be noted that the sound is nowhere near as crisp as the QC35's. having said that, different people prefer different sound signatures.
Both will not fail to Impress the buyer, that is fact. Sony is more expensive but has a few extra tricks up its sleeve, but the Bose crack on and deliver the basics extremely well.
Heat for the price OP.

Can you get an adaptor of some sort to get them to work with an Xbox one S or ps4?

had these a few weeks now, they are so good, sound is really nice and for comfort they can't be beaten and the ANC is incredible

I also ordered. Let down by the Martin Dawes deal and these are the next best price. Bose won't let retailers offer large discounts (hence why Martin Dawes couldn't honour sales) on their flagship products so this is the best option to date without going via a foreign site.

Been looking for a deal on these, might still wait for Boxing Day though.
