I got this for Christmas, fortunately I got Grandad's staff discount so only paid about £54 for it. Used it today for the first time and very pleased as a DIY drill around the house.

Sounds like you got the 2 battery version in which you got a bargain.

Wouldn't recommend using a hammer function for anything other than masonry.

They had this same offer over Christmas, it was advertised on their catalogue as being a 2.0ah battery, but apparently it was a misprint, and it was this exact drill with the 1.5ah battery.
I still went ahead and bought it, very good piece of kit.

Great Price. I have one of these with two batteries. I found another use for the hammer function when using it one handed to screw in 8mm wood tek screws through galvanised sheets with an 8mm socket. It just gives you that little bit more force when piercing the sheets especially if you are doing it all day.

Only up to 10mm I think.

Yes no problem, 10mm refers to the max diameter of the drill that fits into the chuck.

The picture is misleading as it shows the more expensive twin battery version.

£70 with 2 batteries on Amazon. Got a deal for £62.92 with Flubit so that is like £13 more with one additional battery
