Agreed!
I bought the Gingerbread one and was so taken by it that I decided to buy my first Yankee. It was very disappointing in comparison.

I don't know if people commenting have ever used a Yankee Candle comparison to using other candles they last much much longer and the smell is much more intense, yes they are pricy but if you get them in a good deal worth paying a few more quid for a candle that will last 3/4 times longer and smell more intense

I've tried two of the Wickford & Co (Home Bargains) candles so far - both are very strongly scented and very impressive for £2.99 (and huge jars too) - Gingerbread and Apple & Cinnamon.
Makes you grudge paying Yankee prices! Still to try the Iced Vanilla Bean and Mulled Wine varieties. I know there's also a Wedding Bells candle - not sure what else is out there.
