Unless you have porcelain skin I would avoid these palettes - I have beige and Rose versions and the colour intensity is terrible. (bought as a gift for me)

Ah I see. That palette is the free gift. So if you buy other items totalling £12.99 or above you get the palette free. I added an item first (lip liner or whatever) then the palette and it charged me only for the first item. Unfortunately I don't want this palette, but it's a great spot OP! Heat from me :smiley:

yup, i was looking at the brand Make Up obsession, you can create your own palettes. they are currently running a promotion of spend £12 get (empty) medium black palette free (worth £4). However the same as the posted 2 offers, it's taking the palette into consideration of the £12 spend, so if you add £8 worth of highlight, blush, eye shadow, or contour THEN the medium black palette, you will get everything for £8 rather than £12. :smirk: i normally use high end make up but this brand had such good reviews i thought id give it a whirl.

you first add the cheapest item you can find e.g Loreal lip balm 4.99 unless you want something different then you search the free gift rose colour palette, as it's the free gift system will recognise this and deduct the price for it hence you only pay 4.99, follow same rule for 17 item add brush set and select one of the nail varnishes at 1.99, it will deduct the price for the brush set.

I tried adding all the other pallettes, even with the correct amount of purchases in the bag, they were all full price. Got this error message'
'L’Oreal Paris Make Up Designer Smokey Eye Look by Amelia Liana Bundle: Sorry we are now out of stock of this product'
That seems to be what we were supposed to get.

today at 11am i got an email saying that the loreal palette has been cancelled. i did paid on the 12 @12:28pm.
so today on collection i will just return and ask for my money back on the nail polish.

Ordered a L'oreal item for £4.99 and then added the palette second, worked so I placed the order. Just had an email to say the item worth £4.99 has been despatched but they have cancelled the order for the free palette! Does anyone know if I will get a refund on the first item as I don't want it now I'm not getting the palette free!

I'm in the same boat as you. I ordered at pretty much exactly 10pm on Sunday (i.e. basically immediately after the deal was posted) and have heard nothing since the order acknowledgment and order confirmation emails on Sunday night.

My order status on the Boots website does state that it was despatched at 10:50am on Monday, however.

To those who have had cancellations and partial cancellations, check your receipts very carefully. Long story short, I was charged £7.38 for a £2.99 brush set after they partially cancelled the order and removed the "free" Colour Palette. Clearly (by my math) if you remove the other "free" item then I should still only be charged £2.99., not sure why they actually ADDED £4.39!!!

Don't ask me how this happened as I genuinely cannot figure out where that number even came from, but needless to say the order will be returned.

got mine today 2 orders one as it should be nail polish and free palette and the other just the free palette and some empty bubble wrap should have had brow pencil looks like it fell out during packing was charged 4.99 so not complaining

My emails show everything has arrived in store but I haven't collected it yet so don't know whats actually arrived but for those asking if it works in store, I went into store yesterday picked up a 17 Shimmer Brick (£3.99 & something I've actually wanted to try out - the lightest shade makes a pretty highlighter!) and got the brush set free..I was going to try the Loreal offer in store too but the branch I went to did not stock Loreal make up :neutral_face:

I picked up my order today, only the nail varnish had been delivered, the palette, brush set and second item had not been included. The lady in my local boots put £5.00 of points on my advantage card instead of a 'refund'. So ultimately I'm £5.00 up and a cheap nail varnish in hand. Not what I was hoping for but it would be cheeky to complain. ^_^

collected mine today. they found the computer system showed 2 parcels arrived but only one could be found. they asked me to open the parcel to confirm how many item inside but i only found eyebrow pencil without the free gift. then they went to double check again and finally found the other parcel with was the free gift. so happy to get both for £4.99
