Yep, my plastic one keeps brews warm for plenty long enough. The metal ones look nice, but I'm drinking my coffee from the travel mug, not transporting it distances to keep it hot. If that's what you are looking for I'd get a proper thermos.

Beware these are not the stainless steel ones which keep drinks hot. They are made of plastic and drinks soon go cold

I have a couple plastic ones and an hour maximum to keep your drink warm.

I had one of these but the plastic gets stained badly.
zojirushi keeps the drinks hot for hours. I brew a strong difussed to 600ml aeropressed coffee at 7 am. Travel to work on the underground (tend to sleep if not studying or gaming). Drink from the flask at 9 am lasts me till 12-2pm. Its still scoldingly hot.

Can you recommend a site to buy these from or an Amazon third-party reseller?

prime eligable ones are here . You can get larger ones cheaper. Though be prepared to wait for it to get shipped from japan.

The metal ones are superb and keep your coffee/tea warm for hours on end. The plastic ones aren't nearly as good, but not terrible by any stretch. Just not as good as the metal variant.

Still has plastic lid which is where it loses heat. I have a contigo and it's good for about 2-3.5 hours max.

I have the metal version of this; the lid isn't great imo, became very loose after a few weeks of daily use. shame, as I quite liked the design

I was hoping this was the steel version. For the plastic version, I can't really get excited by this price.

I've been looking to replace mine for a while and the cheapest I've seen recently was Amazon for £7.30-ish. I've ordered this one from Tesco.

I have the stainless version and have been using it daily for the last couple of years. It's spot on and can handle taking a few knocks so in my humble opinion the better option.

if anyone is looking for a good one for daily use and willing to spend a bit more these are the only travel mug for me because it the only one that does what is is meant to and is leakproof, easy cleaned and has a lock so can be safely carried too ..best thing i ever got as i was sick of wasting money on ones that don't live up to their claims. . https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/B0142Y2J58/ref=olp_twister_all?ie=UTF8&mv_color_name=all

Thanks for the introduction to that mug, but your aeropress brew should never be scalding. Unless you like a bitter brew...
