Bodi-Tek glass scales in black or white. RRP £59.99
Noticed seller has upped the price after selling 100 to £16.99 still a bargain but no longer £14.99.
Love these scales and the app that goes with them have lost 8kg in last couple months just through the fear of seeing my 'line' go back up on the progress chart!!
They tell you your weight, muscle mass, water percentage, fat percentage and your BMI and the app is very clear to use and see past results with charts to compare yearly, monthly or weekly data. Very clear at displaying any weight issues and showing you how far off the green safe zone you are and regular daily weighing will be sure to encourage and promote a healthier life style and more exercise as it's a bit depressing going up a kilo one day lol. Can have several users all set up to use scales too and it guesses who you are by your weight but if there are two similar people in house hold will ask you to select P1 or P2 etc before it converts your weight to data.
Paid £69 a couple of months ago and thought was worth it so £14.99 delivered is a bargain. These scales work well on most surfaces and give really accurate readings none of the usual cheap product annoyance of having a different reading each time you move them an inch!!
Look very smart and expensive. Sleek and shiny meaning they are a bit hard to keep clean but perfect otherwise. Postage was 48 hour Royal Mail and despatched promptly.
They also sell the Bodi-Tek blood pressure monitor for £14.99 (RRP 69) that works along side this in the free app for android or apple (search Bodi-Tek) however I wouldn't recommend relying on this as it's just cheap rubbish compared to the scales so don't really want to promote that option but if you really want it search their other items. There's also a slot for an activity tracker in the app but strangely I've never seen Bodi-Tek promote one of their own maybe it works with others.
Also reduced on Amazon fron £59.99 but to £19.99 and no prime option.

The only way they could give you "real readings" would be to cut you up and weigh the bits separately

This is back available again for £16.99 on the "Get Deal" link.
Was thinking of buying but a few people over on Google Play are saying the app has stopped working saying "server error". Anyone who got it first time round having that problem?

My apps still working okay and still has all saved data and I just reinstalled on a new phone and all re-appeared. Not sure what all the feedback is about maybe just need install app again and login as all data is backed up online so long as you made an account. Maybe the servers were just down temporarily as I didn't use it for last couple weeks and haven't been on this app either as this has been broken! Using Google Pixel.

Me and the wife are all set up on it but the annoying thing is everytime we get weighed we have to manually sync every time with the app by pressing the button on the bottom of scales otherwise the app doesnt read it. Anyone else have this issue? I just though id need the app and bluetooth switched on.

Mines just sends automatically have you linked it up properly in the WiFi/network/Bluetooth settings part of your phone as well as the app Bluetooth button? I just weigh myself, walk to the living room (not far lol) and unlock phone and as soon as I open the app it'll say "new data." You do have to open your app within twenty or so seconds while it flashes your weight data or it'll no send? As long as it's working out you and wife are separate users which it should unelss you are same weight it's more likely a Bluetooth setting issue. Think you have to sync it first via your phone's network settings search Bluetooth devices so phone saves it then sync it in the app as well so it knows what devices you want to use.

Sorry, have only just seen your reply. Mine didn't have the leaflet. Managed to add all of that days. Had found the button and linked with Bluetooth. The scales just didn't seem to retain the profile. I'll have a look the photos.

I am not sure if mine are faulty or I'm not using them properly. Managed to sync/connect last night but. not today. There aren't any instructions with them.
Did you manage to add your age, height etc. okay as you need to choose a user for the info to sync correctly and if you've not got the instructions this could be the issue as you have to choose P1-P8 when registering and your personal info needs to be stored within the scales. I'll upload a picture of the set up instructions see if helps. I replied to a comment above with how to set up the Bluetooth you could double check it's on by holding the button underneath for a few seconds then clicking the Bluetooth icon within the app and see if scales appear then click and see what user you are if any then you'd need to set up personal info on the scales! There should have been an 18 page user guide I got one with both my sets.
Hope these links works just a few pictures of the guide with the main pages. Hope it helps!
Is anyone having problems syncing this with iphone 7? The phone is not finding the scales.

You have to hold the button on the bottom to activate the Bluetooth then search for Bluetooth devices on iPhone settings firstly not in the Bodi Tek app (it won't show as a name just the scales code so click anything new that shows up under Bluetooth lol). Once it's connected to the iPhone then open the app, login to your account ( and choose auto login to make easier in future ) and press the button on the scales again for a few seconds til the Bluetooth animation displays and then press the Bluetooth icon within the app (wee square white box on the weight page) and choose the scales it'll then ask what user you want to sync with the phone P1-P8 you should choose the one you set your scales up with that has your BMI info and from then onwards you just have to open the app after weighing and should be fine!

good morning all... I purchased a set of these and received them yesterday... good looking piece of kit and easy to set up with up to 8 users. The scales recognise which user is which by the weight of the person stepping on them. (assuming there is enough variation in weight of course). so far so good...
The app however and the syncing to it is a little hit and miss... the 3 of us in the household all set up different users in the scales but I can't seem to sync the data with my phone and set up 3 sets of "tracking data" so it just recorded me as having 3 different heights, weights, BMI etc....
any other users help?

Also the fact these are Bluetooth and have an app is priceless to many and the only reason it's a really good deal compared to Salter and your notebook and pen. Can't really comment on quality of internal parts but your statement that generalises all scales using same set up is like saying cars all have the same engine and therefore work the same.
The reason there's not much public feedback or reviews on these scales is that they were being sold exclusively by Ideal World under a different name although this is what was sent Bodi Tek branded ones it was probably done so that people wouldn't Google and possibly find a cheaper price - until after they had purchased them. This arrangement must have ended and now they are been sold off cheap by the manufacturer on eBay and Amazon and for whatever reason Ideal World have reset the feedback and deleted the sale videos.

Hmm I agree the salter ones are on sale a lot. But I feel these ones also have a highly inflated RRP. The salter ones have a huge number of positive reviews on amazon - as you mentioned they do need to be used on a hard floor to be accurate. These ones however have no reviews on amazon (and no price history on camelcamel), are from a company I haven't heard of, I dont see any reviews popping up (through limited googling). So overall, I don't see anything to suggest that the measurement components of this are made of any better quality than the salter ones. The bluetooth capabilities are probably what's responsible for its much higher RRP, and I admit it's a good price for that. But for someone who's not looking to use those functions, the salter at £10 seems a better option to me.

Well if you search this app for Salter scales and read comments there's always a few saying different measurements when scales moved a cm. The Salter ones are ALWAYS on sale as well so don't believe their true RRP. They are cheaply made compared to these.

not doubting you, but when you say that the salter ones dont work on wood or laminate floors, and these ones do, what are you basing that off, just your personal experience? Because I dont see any claim like that on the product listing page, and i would have assumed that this and the salter one uses the same type of tech

The Salter ones are less accurate if you don't have a concrete floor unfortunately so for me that deal wasn't even worth a tenner! These work on wood floor and tiles with the main bonus of having Bluetooth built in with a free smart phone app to track your weight loss or gain progress which is usually only included in scales over £50. Not saying they'll work on every surface but I get the same readings on tile, wood and concrete where as with others including cheaper Salter options you really need a concrete floor and the scales glued in place or your weight will vary by the kilo or three!! The only time these scales give incorrect readings is when I've had too many donuts...but on those occasions I just quickly jump off the scales before it stores my data!!

Are they any good? Is it accurate? Some of those scales give you calculated values instead of real readings.

Accurate with weight. BMI details are always calculated based on algorithms reflecting what personal data you set up so would rely on you correctly inputting your height and age. Fat and muscle percentage seem to be decent as when I've worked out muscle improves and when I've ate cake fat increases. Bone density is a bit less sensitive and can change daily but still within 100g. For £15 can't complain at what you get tbh definitely worth at least double that when compared to say Argos alternatives. Scales also try to take an average of your data if weigh more than once in a day as they save what time you weigh in and morning results are favoured over night ones etc.
