Boden is indeed quite expensive, but the clothing is great quality, looks lovely (if it's to your taste) and the re-sale values are excellent. There are Facebook groups specifically set up for the buying and selling of Boden goods. I was entirely sceptical at first, but my better half has proven that this brand can often make more financial sense than the budget high-street has to offer (Primark etc, although I recognise they offer some great clothes, all well priced).
Just something else to think about

I love Boden baby clothes and have bought a few things for my granddaughter (first grandchild so nice to spoil her) and they have all been lovely and beautifully made. I only buy in sales as would never pay their full prices. As others have mentioned they seem to command respectable second hand prices on Ebay.

Gotta love boden for my kids. Yes they're pricey but I only buy in sales/promotions and then sell them on eBay etc and always manage to recoup some funds to buy next size up. The quality is lovely and the customer service is amazing with one year return policy.

Well your wish has come true.... Add the code 7W2K for an extra 10% off.
To the OP cheers for the heads up on this... I finally bought a few things in the Sales after days of looking...my annual wardrobe update is complete.
Nothing says fun like the purchase of 2 plain shirts and 2 plain t-shirts for work and a thick knitted jumper (£40 off the jumper)...Oh and also got one of my kids some bright blue camo shorts for the Summer, but that's only cause my wife leant over my shoulder and added to the shopping list (barely a discount on those)... I figure the quality will mean they'll all be going strong after 2 years worth of wash and wear.....

I would admit to having a lot of clothes but I always get compliments when I'm wearing Boden over any other label. Styles tend to be quite quirky - especially for kids. Even so, I only buy reduced items!

New to Boden, is this a good quality brand? The stuff seems expensive.

Personally i prefer vertbaudet when on offer but if you buy from vertbaudet you need to measure in cm as sizes are small need to buy 2 size up

Stuff is average, they hook you with one of these type of deals. But the big warning I would pass on is you WILL get a lifetime of catalogues and junk mail I ordered 1 thing 6 years ago and still getting the bloody stuff!!!

They gave up sending us adverts for clothing for five-year olds by the time our youngest was doing his A-levels.

Sometimes just by looking on the website whilst logged in and putting stuff in your basket and not buying you may get vouchers (no guarantee;) ). I have found that it's a good trick for some of the more expensive shops and is one of the MSE tips.

They are decent quality, but pricey. Only buy during promotions tbh

Register with them and they also send you £10 vouchers for your birthday and to entice you to buy. If you use the offers with these vouchers and the free p&p (not on sale items) can be reasonably priced. Lovely quality but yes expensive. For example the girls cord dresses wear really well and will still look really good when my youngest will fit into them. Also may need to buy a size bigger but no where near as bad as Vertbaudet

They have sent me nothing this year :disappointed: I got at least 2 x £10 during 2015 and £20 last xmas with no min spend.

Just beware once they have your address you will be subject to an unrivalled assault with promotional material sent to you on an exponential scale.
And there is no escape.
We had to tell them we changed address to stop receiving their junk.

It's expensive and no better than most. You are paying for the "upmarket" ??? name.
