my little one has had the Thomas 3 wheeled scooter the last year with no problems he's only 3 so carnt manage the 2 wheeled one as yet but I did get my 5 year old the 2 wheel version

Don't buy this scooter. 2 wheels at the rear makes it impossible to ride those without hitting your foot while pushing. My 3 year old had lots of issues with it, after 2 weeks I threw it away and got a different one.
