Just found this and ordered at £19.99. You need to be a AMAZON PRIME NOW member.
PS4 only - £19.99.
Remember if your order is over £20 enter XMASGIFT at checkout (after adding a 4pk of Corona) to get them for free.
New customers may be eligible with other discount codes for up to £10 off - but I doubt codes will work against games.
Many thanks
****Edit at 1550hrs. Unfortunately now up to £24. A price change in as little as half an hour by £5. Bit of a joke if you ask me. New customers may be able to use codes as detailed in thread to knock the price down. Plus it takes you over the £20 required for your 'free' beer or mince - only you effectively pay for it now!****

Use the £5 off code then, sorted

Prime now is very very limited in terms of availability for same day delivery. I don't live in London and I hardly drink, so I'd rather buy if from GAME. I'll be instead getting cashback and reward points and have supported a retail business.
Wow so now it's only prime now and not just prime? Ridiculous company and ridiculous followers.

Not a prime member but that's like saying a Gym that gives its members a better deal than none members is unfair. Don't really get your point. Pay £79 a year then and you'll get the same benefits.

Strange, £24 here via Prime Now :/

Well firstly, locking customers out of deals if they don't pay £79 is pretty stupid and bad practise. This can be had for the same price elsewhere so it's a bad idea to encourage this. Especially when it's only this price due to being a price match from elsewhere. Retail shopping is the last place this is needed.
Secondly, prime now which is an extension of prime is not available to everyone. So if this is for prime now only then you are further cutting out paying prime members from this deal.

Better deal is a very generous term to use when all they do is "price matching" others. What's the advantage of this deal when it's £19.99 from GAME too? I've minimised my shopping from Amazon. TBH almost whatever they sell can be had cheaper from elsewhere.

Has the 5% discount stopped?

PrimeNow offers same-day delivery within a couple of hours. I don't believe GAME do that.
Plus, you can get four free beers by adding a penny on to your order. I don't think GAME do that either.

Yeah through NUS, The 5% discount expired on 31/10 and they haven't updated anything so I would assume they've stopped it

Yep I've just checked myself and it's gone up to £24. A £5 price change in as little as half an hour is ridiculous, but still cheap....ish....

I suppose new customers will be better off if they can use various codes to get money off plus the free beer of available.
I've never seen anything like that tho. A slight demand and the price goes up. I wouldn't bother ordering at £24 to make a point. Not that they care or listen.

Maybe Amazon thinks prime members are not paying enough for their membership so they're trying to fulfill the loss through the additional £5 per order and assuming they're beating GAME at the same time?

Standard first order discount code. Also prime now isn't a separate membership from prime itself it's just a service that's not available in all of the uk yet.

Or maybe Amazon realises that everyone is reading HUKD and finding out how to scam them by using the £5-off code for every purchase, so is adding a fiver on top of the regular price to compensate.

Impractical  They're offering the code, they should be the first one who knew about the so called "scam", if we ignore the bigger scam which is mistakenly being called "prime"

You can only use the code once per account and it's only available in prime now areas so that's highly unlikely. What happened here was that OP took the normal price of £24.99 for this item and applied the standard prime now first order discount. People are still getting away with posting this sort thing as a deal even though prime now covers a tiny proportion of the U.K.

I ordered this yesterday at 25 and they refunded me a fiver because it dropped to 20 after I emailed them, worth a shot if anyone is in the same boat

What happened here is that I've been a Prime member since it was established. So no I never. And in any case, the price comes off in the basket. Not where I took the screenshot. But thanks for your bitter insightful comment.

1. That didn't happen.
2. Plenty of people post deals on HUKD that aren't applicable for everyone or across the country. Have you seen how much heat the wild goose chase Tesco/ASDA deals get for just one item that was available in just one branch?
What I'm increasingly seeing on Prime deals - and especially Prime Now deals - is 'sour grapes' posting from people who live outside Prime Now areas and/or don't have Prime. Which is a shame, because it's making some great deals less visible for those who are able to take advantage of them.
