Delicious stuff and an absolute bargain at £1 a bottle. Loads on shelf this morning in My local HB. For those of you who don't know, this is quality apples, brewed for the Indian market by Aspall, the kings of cider making in my opinion. See link for review.
Each to their own Leo old boy. You're more of a white lightning/frosty jack man I assume.

Any cider made north of Bristol or East of Chippenham is not worth your time.
Thatchers are king, although Thatchers Gold is easily their worst one.

So you rule out the Welsh? Some nice stuff comes from there in my opinion.
I love my cider, I have a fair amount at home (over 70 bottles of craft stuff most of which I've never tried in for the xmas period), but when it comes down to it I will drink pretty much anything from Thatchers Gold upwards. I much prefer a proper bag in a box job, but you take what you can (as long as its not stronbgbow anyway!). This is a deal for a cider specifically paired with curry, I expect it therefore to taste a lot different to a 'real' cider. I'm happy to give it a go, I usually prefer a sparkling cider with a curry anyway.

It's a wonderful diverse world of different opinions in which we live....especially when you've been on the apples.

If a supermarket stocks a cider it's almost always gross, Old Rosie really is the best out of a bad bunch.
With that being said I'll still drink pretty much anything..

Too many fussy so and so-s on this thread. If you're going to drink cider, drink the proper stuff. i.e. Old Rosie, Thistly Cross Whisky Cask, Black Dragon, not all this girly stuff.

And that's just the charger in the front cigarette lighter, you should see the one in the back.
Its finding them thats the problem! Very few supermarkets stock them as they often have reduced shelf lives due to no sulphates. I get them delivered once in a while but it works out near £4 a bottle, I did use crafty nectar for a while but just signed up with orchard box to give them a try. Its £28.99 delivered for 8 bottles plus 2 snacks, if you use code NEW12 you get 12% off your first order.
I actually found a code that still worked that gave me 2 free bottles too, pretty sure it was meant to be a limited use one though. Found on their facebook page:

How much would a bottle of Cider with 75% apple juice set you back Leo?

Quality cider has at least 75% of apple juice, no added sugar etc. Thats what I mean as a quality cider. Aspall made quality ciders but they gave that up for extra profit.

Shame this guy stopped, but you'll find some good reviews here.
Depends if you like flat or sparkling I guess. I'm quite partial to gwatkins, especially norman and yarlington mill. Sparkling try a dunkertons, I'm also partial to a few of the gwynt y ddraig ones especially gold medal. You won't find any at anywhere near this price though!
Heat added, I'll give it a go.

I worked there, so I know what they put in their bottles... Believe me, far away from quality ingredients.
If the BBE shows end of 2017 that means they packed it 2015.
