Great monitor, great price! I have the exact model and I have been using it as my main display for my PC and PS4 gaming. Recommended!

I have the 22 inch version of this and can confirm it is great. Mine overclocked up to 80Hz.

Had this monitor delivered yesterday. Lovely crisp display, great size as well especially for gaming! Only down side is the speakers are what you would expect from a monitor, so you will probably need external speakers unless of course like me you use a headset for all sound. Overall, a great purchase at a great price.

There's an awful lot of people that don't have display port and precisely what feature do you think you will be missing from the hdmi specification?
Had this monitor and other BenQ's for years.

Very nice 1080p monitor, its a shame they didn't put their 1440p one back down to £200

Hi, Would you suggest jumping on this, I want a 1080p monitor or do you suspect there will be better deals? thanks
Good monitors possibly able to overlook to 75hz (at your own risk!). Got three (thanks to my wife for the presents ;-) ) running in eyefinity. can't fault them especially at this price.

So what's the real benefit between this model GL2450HM or GL2560HM model?

Nearly a hundred notes for a TN display with bezels wide enough to land a small plane.

Exactly. I think people have gone mad.
Who in their right minds wants a TN panel? You can say gamers all day long but you'd be very hard pressed to notice a difference compared to an IPS screen and if you're that serious about gaming then surely you'll get a more appropriate higher end panel.

Why is this good for gaming compared to the HP 24XW IPS one?

I waited too long to make my mind up about HP 24 inc IPS monitor (dunno what I was thinking) and missed out on the deal last week. I am waiting for it to come back on sale. I was deciding between the HP and this BenQ and decided to go with the HP one for IPS. I have this BenQ height adjustable version and have to say its brilliant, but I wanna try out an IPS monitor.

If you're not playing any first person shooters then get an IPS panel, they are a million times better than a TN for picture quality and viewing angles. TNs are horrendously washed out and look rubbish when parked beside an IPS panel.
If you want a compromise get a VA/AMVA panel, better colours than a TN and almost as fast response rate.

Is it better to go for this non IPS 24" for £100?
Or 23" IPS for £95 (was £85 before):
http://www.box.co.uk/Acer_G237HL_23_IPS_Full_HD_LCD_HDMI_Mo_1955213.html
Or wait for 24" IPS for when it's on offer for £100 again like:

or
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/hp-24-monitor-ips-full-hd-99-99-pcworld-2558245
as already mentioned no display port
