Had a Beko dryer, numerous issues within first 2 years including the plug blowing up and the heating element not heating. Definately was a case of buy cheap buy twice. Would not recommend getting a Beko

You're hung up on a brand name which means nothing.

Superb price OP. We were looking at tumble dryers the week before last funny enough and bought a Beko condensing one from AO with heat pump tech . Compared to the 20 year old Vented one it replaced, the water chamber is super. Collected so much water in it per cycle that was before being dumped out onto into the room comvering the tiles, windows and peeling the paintwork.

Fire's from tumble dryer are manufactured by whirlpool, who also make hotpoint, beko, bush, indesit to name a few lol so most lol
No sensor drying though if that's must have for you.
other than that no problem recommending a Beko product as they are best in their class when you consider cost of buying running and reliability and yes I own Beko washing machine and tumble dryer.

we have always had beko dryers. cheap yet really cope with heavy use. Although personally I buy from currys as the cover plan is useful to have (heating elements are the usual issue) but speaking as a mum of 6, I have no issue recommending beko dryers. think they perform brilliantly.

Thought the fires were hotpoint not beko

Any dryer can cause a fire if its not maintained properly not just a beko cleaning of filters being done after every use is a must + i would not leave 1 on whilst out either

Tell me a brand who sold more than 20 million appliances in UK and didn't get into trouble.
