Go for it,I got this set delivered yesterday from john lewis and the picture quality is outstanding colours are very real to life, blacks are brilliant and the contrast is brilliant, shows detail in video that I never previously saw with my Sony 4k set.The sound is not great but I have everything running through my Pioneer amp so that's not a problem for me.HDR is just WOW.Also,I have noticed no input lag whilst gaming,no banding and no clouding. I would not have been unhappy if I had paid £1500 for this set because it really is that good..PS,you get a HDR software update for it as soon as you set it up.Fantastic

how's the picture quality of Hisense 4K TVs? In general, and compared vs Samsung KS models?

Seem's to be getting decent ratings on the pro review sites apart from their HDR performance.

Got rid of a LG 1080p Smart and bought one of these. very impressive so far although the smart aspect lacks in my opinion. I fitted a Windows PC stick in the back and now it's a super smart 4k Telly with a great picture and a bargain vs the Korean equivalents.

Does anyone know the max distance between the feet please?
My stand is 46 inches or 118 cm wide?
If it would fit I might pull the trigger on this but would really prefer someting with 5 or 6 year warranty.

Why the extended warranty? Have you had a telly go faulty in years 2-5? I haven't ever.
After all JL And Richer would not give them away if they them cost money.

you need a bigger stand got this tv the length of the tv is 56" inches tv itself from top left corner to bottom right is 65" .the important bit the legs are 2and 3/4 " short of the length of the tv each side so you can only get away with a stand or unit 51" or more hope this helps .

Just set up after receiving from JL with 5 year warranty for £719 which was a price match. Absolutely outstanding picture quality especially in 4K. Am having work carried out in my house at the min and had loads of comments about how good the picture quality is and can't believe the price I paid. Sound is impressive but l'll prob add a soundbar and sub to finish it off. The TV is huge but you soon get used to it. Highly recommended

This was cheaper (£679) couple of weeks ago. So it might go down to £650 or £600. Not long for boxing day or new year sales. Worth waiting few days.

I have. Apart from the remote and power lead.
Nearly every part of my LG55ub850v has been replaced.
Lcd, main board, bezel, rear casing.
I have only had it 2 years or so.

To be fair under the sale of goods act a TV is expected to last 6 years so you would have a form of legal recourse without a guarantee.
