For information, my order has now shipped at this price, so anyone else who went for it should check their Amazon order status...

I just managed to put an order in before they took the option away. I doubt they'll restock :'(
Worth a try though.

It does support DDR4 but my question is. Is the extra worth the ddr4 or not. Is DDR4 a big boost

I am upgrading my PC currently. And have picked a motherboard that will support DDR4. I was looking at getting DDR4 3000mhz for £90. Is it worth getting the DDR4 or should I just go with this?

Some motherboards support DDR3 & DDR4, so you will need to check what your motherboard supports. If it only supports DDR4, then this RAM is useless for you.

It is now out of stock, although it is still letting you order at this price. I have ordered some, just need to hope that they fulfill the order when more stock comes in.

Same here, worth a punt. Not desperate so if it doesn't get fulfilled - no harm, no foul.

To clarify, this is 1866Mhz right? because I read on some question there was concern that the mt's means that the mhz are cut in half and thus could they be 933mhz each, making them half as slow as the ram I have in place ?

Are you trolling, you asked exactly the same question a few hours ago in another thread about DDR3 RAM (which I answered).
Great price for this, since most other kits are about £80 atm.

Question guys. I'm buying components for my first ever pc one by one. Is it okay to buy the ram before deciding which motherboard to get?

What's with all the RAM. I just bought some 1600mhz ram for £40 from Amazon last week and now there's slightly faster ones appearing
Still want some 2400mhz ram though

Crazy Heat ! thanks. although, I actually saw it and bought it before I saw this, but that was just chance. in fact I ordered it and for some reason was so delayed and clicked on product specs to check it was the correct purchase and saw a low price. Just what I needed for a time when my 4 year old ram has failed and in time for crimbo!
Though, I am concerned it may not fit in my tight system. Asus mobo with cpu right next to the slots :/
