I checked both my local Asda stores after the last deal but couldn't find them, not even am empty shelf.

Guess if I try click and collect they will just substitute with more expensive packs?

agree and thanks for clarification. I got the new proglide on sale last year and wanted to put away my trusty mach 3 after over 15 years service but I think the price of the proglide blades is a bit ott

Tried it last time it was posted. Bought 2 packs added a bottle of wine and paid for a timed delivery slot. Got a message the following day to say item was out of stock so I ended up with a cheap but expensive bottle of wine. Went to Asda myself and found there was still one left on the shelf (delivery worker couldn't be bothered to check and see I guess). Moral of the story is that you might be better off popping into your local Asda. Great deal if you can get it.

All blades (good ones) are overpriced IMO, since beards in fashion thought we would see more deals. Never know you might get substituted with pro glide now that would be a bargain.. I'm sorted for a year now :sunglasses:

It don't fit mine so would think neither will urs but wv this deal you get a Razor included I jus got the blades 13 as a substitute now I need a Razor dam it lol need to find a good deal with one blade or buy another one of this deal & hope they don't substitute it like last time anyways hope this helps

tried last time, ordered 4 packs of 11 and ended up with 4 x 4, will give it another go.

Click & Collect it's online, if they hvnt got them have to honour the deal with substitute hopefully better ones or more like the 13 pack I got. :wink:

click and collect has a £25 minimum order it seems, and they charge you 5p per item for bags. so two of these (and a filler item) ended up costing over £27 not £10 each

Take the other items back for a refund & SORTED, you will be in store :smirk: now for the bag well cant you take one with as you are going to collect... Hope this helps pmsl

was no option not to have bags, just got added to the price, not that its going to come in 8 bags. i'll see when i get there.

There is definitely an option for no bags on collection. There's a button where it says 'yes or no'. if you opt for yes, there's a standard charge of 40p as they assume you would need 8 bags. Opt for no and it takes the charge off the total. It is quite prominent, so don't know how you missed it.

Not used the proshield but more expensive blades so you should be good to go, just make sure they don't palm you off with only a few blades. Really you should get equivalent or more. Hope you do alright out of this :smirk:

Asda cancelled my collection order just a few hours before collecting, saying that they are OOS. grr.

Also had an email with an update to say the 2 that I ordered for collection were unavailable. There wasn't any offer of a substitute and I've just called to cancel the rest of the order as I only added on the additional items so I could get these.

Sure you don't work for ASDA uuummmm lol , sorry you couldn't benefit from this deal but still on line for Click & Collect other peeps on here have had the deal honoured or substituted mine got substituted for the 13 blade pack of Mach 3 I was very pleased. If you really want these I would try another store to C&C. choice is urs :smirk:

You haven't specified but. is this reply to me? If so, no, I don't work for Asda and not quite sure why you'd even come to that conclusion just from what I've written. I was just relaying my experience and it looks like I'm not the only one, but anyway... I'm logged in and the blades are still showing as available to add to basket for me too, but doesn't change the fact that they're out of stock for collection at my store (according to the email)

collected this morning, 4x12 blades + handle, well done poster, will keep me going for a couple of years.

jans, was only messing about working at Asda didn't mean to offend you ! I do really believe it's the stores that don't won't to substitute & decide to cancel orders (like yours) if they don't have enough stock it shouldn't be on there site, last time it got removed after a while but saw the deal back yesterday that's the reason for posting the deal. Bother. My order is ready for collection ... but not with the Mach3 blades.

They are a darned nuisance. They did the same to me (and others above too) BUT I called to cancel the rest of the order as I'd only placed it in the first place to buy these blades and they still haven't cancelled/refunded it as yet. When the other half was at the store last week he went to customer services desk and they said they would look into it and call us back the next day but not heard anything. Tried to call the store a few times but that puts you through to the call centre based in another country (Phillipines, I think) who don't seem to know what they're doing.

Have only used Asda's Click n Collect Grocery twice and both times the orders have been messed up. So never again.

Conversely though, their online Direct George click n collect orders for clothes and homeware goods is excellent. They just don't appear to have their Grocery service streamlined so I'm going to leave that well alone in future, not that I would ever use it for actual perishable produce anyway, would never trust other people to pick/pack those type of items.

I also think it's discussing the way Asda handle the C&C, am sure other stores (the big ones) honour the deals & get the item from other stores & not substitute for other items ( never get the fusion tho) food I do understand but if you have an offer online & it's still on the website you should get what you order. Only used C&C once & got the 13 pack blades without handle but was happy thought I had one but didn't grrrrr lol had to buy a Razor + 1 blade from Wilko £3-15. As for home delivery used it twice 1st time 12 cases of beer was the correct beers, was happy. Next home delivery was a nightmare groceries wrong dog food ( the mutt can only eat certain ones )

Anyway won't be using them again till I run out of Razors but am good for a year :sunglasses:
