B&Q Hartlepool are closing and are selling off all stock cheap. 30-40% off powertool and gardening accessories. Blades, drill bits etc. Wood trim 5 for £10, this includes the oak strips that are normally £15 each. everything is 10-40% reduced. Some good prices in there.

You have plenty of chances guys, b&q are closing 60 stores.
March 2015? How many have actually closed - my store was supposed to but no longer is and most others are too.

Quite a few have closed near me. Baum's Lane (Mansfield), Mansfield Wooshouse, Arnold, Spondon, Alfreton. That's 5 in a 30 mile radius.
Many others have been resized to make them smaller.

I think it was only Hyde which was one of the first to go in 2015.
From last week.

They closed B&Q in Livingston this year, nearest one is Edinburgh now. Homebase closed years ago in both Livingston and Linlithgow. You can get most things cheaper elsewhere, just not all in the same shop. I only went to B&Q when they had a sale.

Got myself a nice pressure treated archway for the garden for just £40 :smiley:http://www.diy.com/departments/chiltern-wooden-round-top-arch/260013_BQ.prd
also wicker 4m x 2m screens for £12 quid
Asked the cashier when they are closing and they reckon the end of January so if you after power tools they will be coming right down in price pretty soon. The garden power tools are already 40 - 60 % off. Lawnmowers, strimmers, shredders, chainsaws etc
