Hey guys, not posted on here for quite some time but this caught my eye...
It's a full Mechanical Keyboard for a top price - sure, it doesn't have Cherry MX switches however for this price you're never gonna find Cherry MX's unless you're buying a broken KB to fix up or a pre-owned one, which always carries a risk anyway.
This has Kailh Brown switches, which have some resistance (not like Red switches which are very linear) and are audible, but not as loud as Blue switches.
To put this in perspective, the Razer series of Keyboards use Kailh switches. The Razer Blackwidow Chroma (RGB LEDs) at Currys/PC World costs £114.99 which isn't a small amount.
Now, I can't vouch for the Keyboard personally as i've just purchased a Corsair K60, however googling this make and model shows a rating of 3.6 out of 5 on the Amazon website and eBay.com shows a rating of 4.5 out of 5. I've come across a video which states the opposite, however looking around online for 15 minutes, it suggests that this could be quite a steal, considering most Mechanical keyboards generally go for a hell of a lot more than the £40 price point.
CCL computers allow for returns within 30 days and you're protected by eBay's money back guarantee (and PayPal upto 180 days from the purchase date), however they include a 12 month warranty period as stated under their T&C's in clause 7.1 - "If within 12 months of being delivered a defect in any Product is discovered which is directly due to faulty goods or workmanship, or if a valid claim is made under 5.2 above, then CCL shall at its option repair or replace the Product free of charge for labour and materials."
FYI, I am aware on their direct website the price is cheaper however taking into account postage costs that they charge, the price comes to £39.23 at the minimum, which is cheaper than their total price on eBay (unless you opt for collection, which is in Bradford only - in my case, travelling 60 miles in total to save a few quid is stupid, as i'd be paying a hell of a lot more in petrol!)

I hate when they try to avoid mentioning the layout

I think the pictures give the layout away with this one.
To be honest I think the switch differences are very minute these days. Main difference being in variences and also longevity. Kalits have slightly larger tolerence ranges from memory and aren't rated for as many key strokes... but at the end of the day this is less than half the price of any full sized cherry mx varient so if it lasts half the time then just buy another! :stuck_out_tongue:

"LED Backlight - Every line of the keyboard has a different colour ,use Fn + shortkeys to adjust the backlight effects"
Does this mean the colours are set i.e. The green row will be either green or off?

Often cheapo mechanical keyboards are US layout. This one appears to be UK though, same about the horrendous font though, I would've bought it otherwise.

The font is a selling point  These keyboards used to be beige before gamers discovered them. I mean 'Demon King' come on.
I might buy one anyway. Voted hot.

While Razer used to use Kailh I don't believe that is the case any more. They apparently had an issue with quality control and changed their switch supplier.

Yeah the newer models definitly have their own "in house" switches these days. Heavily based on Kailhs design though.

All, along with the fonts, marketed at pre-teens, with their Hyper-X's, Balllastix Sports, Ninjas, BraZen Storms, Deathadder Elites, Chaos Spectrums, RipJaws etc
You can even buy a 'gaming' router called a 'Nighthawk' or gaming monitor called a 'predator'
