Tbf it's an amazing game at this price. They fixed the majority of the bugs years ago and it's a decent addition to the series, if not especially standout.

Nope, you only need live to play online. You can still buy and play offline games. Obviously not the online components though

Once you have the code, when your son gets his console for Christmas, head to the store tab on the Xbox Home Screen. On the store tab there is a 'Redeem a Code' option.

Note that 2 years is 'years ago'. But if you want to be pedantic, the bugs were fixed about 1 year 10 months ago. Point still stands that this is a steal and the bugs have been fixed for some time.

Bought this a few weeks ago for a couple of quid. My first assassin's creed game. Only played for an hour or so, it's alright, glad I wasn't someone who played full price though.
