+1 on this.
Little confused myself as to whether this is MX-4 or Zub?
This is a silver-based paste isn't it?

Well I've cancelled my order since the pics are for the MX-4 but the description says Zub?!?

eBay ads also says Zub Arctic MX-4. Dunno what Zub stands for. This is Prime so can be sent back to Amazon if not as described. Ordered as I got through a tube if this more quickly than AS5.

The MX4 is splendid stuff, is there anything better that's priced comparably?

The description is a bit Chinglish, so I suspect it is some very bad Chinese crud.
(And I mean bad, I took a punt on a tube of something similar and it was worse than using a bare heatsink.)
Also, unless you are a mass system builder, you will never use all of this in a lifetime; I have a 2g tube of MX-2 that has done about 6 cpus already, and it still isnt anywhere near empty.

is MX-4 better than Arctic Silver 5? I have just been buying AS5 all these years thinking that was the best you can get for around £5/6

'Zub' is chinese or Chinglish, no ideas what Zub is.
By looking into its reviews, it's likely to be a huge tube of MX-4.

MX4 is brill, had it for years no issues. Recently splashed out on some of that grizzly kryonaut stuff and I couldn't tell the difference.

Its also "Not Available", with everyone else selling it for over £15, which suggests another email scam seller has just been removed.
I swear some of you people would upvote a cat poo if it was said to be a bargain.

For most people, either of these two at £3.95 (addon items) will be sufficient for their needs:

If you need 20g of this stuff then you're probably using too much!! (Unless obviously you are a busy system builder )
You should only be using a very thin layer of thermal compound otherwise it will have the reverse effect and actually insulate the core/heat-spreader from the HSF.

Mine turned up today - it is MX4. I really don't need anywhere near this much, but it cost me about as much as far less paste, so why not...

Ditto. Looks like the real thing. Same item is selling on Amazon.de for €15, so a bargain.

Arctic MX-2 8g
Both provide decent results and good reductions in heat levels compared to other similarly or even more expensive thermal paste.
Arctic MX-4 4g
