So much replay value, probably my most played games on Xbox One! Some great features like adjustable scan lines, sound frequency's and different backgrounds make these versions amongst the best, if you like Namco's classics.

Is Galaga the game where the ship comes down and puts a ray over your ship and sucks it up, then when you shoot it when it flies past it drops your ship and you go double barrel?.

I don't really know much about these games just remember playing space invader abit . I'm going to look the games u mentioned on youtube . just as these games look so old made me think of space invaders . never really played pac man before ever

Rock hard - unless you are a master at these games it will be very difficult to 100% all of them. Some obscure ones like clearing all the blocks in a level of DigDug. However, for this price getting 50% of the achievements means a cool 1500G from some very enjoyable arcade classics. Look great in 4K I'm sure. Amusing that they take up nearly a gig each.

​It shouldn't be 'all about achievements'...you can of course be setting high scores for your friends to beat or streaming on Twitch so you can imagine you are in an arcade with people standing behind you watching your skills! These days I do find I'm drawn into achievement hunting because they can open up different ways of experiencing games through interesting challenges. As far as I can tell these games are pretty much true to their original arcade roms.

Absolute nonsense, I had 3000G from this collection in around 7-8 hours. If you're really rubbish you can manipulate the cloud save to work in your favour, but I never felt the need.

These games have many rare achievements. Pac-Man alone has 15 rare achievements (out of 20) with 6 of them having been unlocked by only 1% of gamers.

You can't go by the Xbox 'rare achievement' system, it's totally broken. Check on TrueAchievements, even the hardest achievement on Pac-Man has been unlocked by 11% of gamers. I just double checked my time for the completion, I've played Pac-Man for 2hr 12 min.

Just to prove how broken that system is, one of those so called rare achievements is for completing level 5 of Pac-Man. Level 5! There's even a level select screen. :smile:

Yes I am sure thank you! There is an option in the menu screen for enabling level select, which means you can start from any level you've reached. You're right, Om Nom Nom etc are not as easy, but they're perfectly manageable with a bit of practice. And like I mentioned earlier, you can manipulate cloud saves to make it a cinch.

Perfectly manageable...the comment about 200 attempts at om nom nom on trueachievements is a tad off putting. Brings back painful memories of 'mile high club' on CoD4.

Well yeah, I guess people have different skill levels. Like I said, I maxed it in just over two hours and wouldn't consider myself particularly amazing.
