Appears to be the cheapest this has been according to camelcamelcamel where it was previously this price for a day.
I have this and it's a great piece of kit espicially for taking away. fits easily in my pockets.

if I charge quick charge 2.0 device with this, will it be charged at the speed expected for qc2.0?

10 Dec 161#3
yes, it should charge 2.0 devices at 2.0 speeds, and 3.0 devices at 3.0 speeds

Great price, paid £20.49 for an Anker PowerCore 20100, but it was this model that doesn't support Quick Charge. Still a great product and very happy with it, just wish I'd got this version. It really surpassed my expectations.

Great price and great product. Got it marginally cheaper when the lightning deals were available.
Top tip. I expected the sock to be with the product due to the reviews but mine turned up without one. Emailed anker who explained they don't ship them with them at this time but gave me a £3 discount due to it.
Really can't fault their company at all!
I do just need to find something to protect it though.

while it charges other devices up to 3A, it's worth noting the power bank itself recharges at 2A from wall socket, so that's 20 hours of charging from flat.

I tend to charge my phone using the pack during the day and then at night charge my battery pack and tends to end up with full charge.

This is ideal for campervans & festivals when you are off grid. Charged 2 phones and 2 tablets for 3 - 4 days. Couldn't recommend this product highly enough. Its super fast charge too which is great.

a lot of people forget just how potentially dangerous cheap shoddy Lithium battery packs and wall chargers are .... Anker makes super high quality kit and has fabulous customer service .. personally I would pay a small amount more for their kit than the typical cheapo generic Chinese crap

I notice it says in tiny writing on one of the pictures that it can only charge apple devices at 1A rate. Is that correct? Why cant it do a faster rate, say around 2A?
I tried looking on Anker website but the same model name there looks slightly different, and has different specs, and the amazon link goes to a different product page. Very confusingly it seems there are at least 2 different Powercore 20100 and a Powercore+ 20100.

Would be very apprehensive about purchasing this product tbh, I've had a total of 2 replacements from Anker and both have been faulty. Don't believe the comments about reliability because this is one product that's not.

Does this have the capacity written anywhere on the product? Bear in mind if it is and you get a jobs worth at the airport he/she may confiscate it for that extra 100mAh lol.

Mine turned up from Amazon and sadly it is the older model they sent me - The Anker Powercore 20000 and not the 20100.
Grrr
Or at least it could be an older model as it is listed at Amazon com site....
If you go to the 20000 product page at anker https://www.anker.com/products/A1272011 and click on BUY AT AMAZON UK it takes you to the same 20100 page as this deal.
So perhaps amazon got the name wrong? Does a "20100 with qc3" ever exist?
VimesUK
11 Dec 16#27
Yeah I reckon that was the confusion, the listing is wrong on the UK Amazon website but correct on the US one. The 20100 is actually....
So it should have been listed like the US one, like I previously posted.

For the price and size the currys one is a good price, it can fit in your pocket and isnt heavy, this on the other hand is quite large and heavy,

11 Dec 16#29
have you discussed this with Amazon? this is the same link that I bought mine ages ago at 36 and mines is definitely the one in the listing and not the 20000 one so could be they've picked and sent the wrong one?

11 Dec 16#30
I've got this one and quite like the size. it does appear thicker than the curry's one (though I've not taken the curry's one out) but it's slimmer which imo makes it going in to my pocket much easier.

Yeah I have spoken to Amazon and I'll give Anker a ring tomorrow. Posted a question on the product page and got a reply saying that theirs is the same as mine.
Two lots of photos also show it to be the same.
At this stage it seems to suggest that Amazon have messed up the advert between the two models.
I'll post what Anker have to say.

Spoke to Anderson and they confirmed that the title and description is wrong to note it as a 20100 capacity model as it is 20000. They will amend it.
There isn't a 20100 version with QC.
They have now changed the title of the advert, but still left the 20100 info in the description...!

So are we still non the wiser on if it will only charge Apple devices at 1A, like it says in amazon picture, or is that a mistake too?

Which model would be better for iphone 6, the 20100 ( now about £27.99) or 20000 £26.24?
