I use the anker dual charger which is around a tenner, you charge two devices at once if you so wish with no loss of charge power to either device. Its better than the iPad charger and i have recommended it to friends. it comes very well packaged and its reliable and safe. I would buy no other now. Ebay never again! I have also purchased the iPhone and Android cables and again they are well packaged and you can tell they are a professional company not just selling tat. Tempted to get my sharpie out on the name though just for a laugh ;-)

I use one of these to charge my Nexus 6 and both this and the original Nexus charger with a Euro 2 pin plug make the phone VERY hot with the result that the back cover has blown.
Motorola have already changed it once and I can't be arrised to send it back again - apart from which it is out of warranty.
It's not an uncommon prob with N6 apparently, so I was wondering if any other phones are so badly affected by "quick charge".

The iPhone charges fast because the battery is small capacity; of all the faults the iPhone has, I never felt it charged slowly - I can get a good 60-70% on it in an hour. The Samsungs, etc need fast charge because the battery is so big to compensate for increased power drain from the OS. Coming from an S7 Edge I can say that the total charge time was similar for iPhone vs S7 on fast charge (without fast charge it took an eternity, 3hrs+).

It will charge an iphone but not 'super duper fast' as Apple don't not have the "quick charge" technology this plug has.

So blinded by Apple you don't even know that other companies make phones too.... Poor thing..

Apple users please note...
extract from comment of purchaser on Amazon September 2016...
'I have received this from the sellers:
sorry to hear that the Quick Charge 3.0, Anker 18W USB Wall didn't work well for you. Sincerely apologize for the inconvenience it has caused to you. However, please be kindly advised that all Apple products cannot support quick charge because they don't use the QC technology. That's why it cannot charge fast when charging an iPhone.Hope it helps.'
