actually I didn't have the appoftheday code, I had the giveaway pro by Amazon, was 6.3 and Amazon only seem to do the odd update.
this is 7.1.1 and Google get the updates more regularly

I agree this is a good price but can't help but mention it was free only last week using the code 'APPOFTHEDAY'. If you can wait, It's generally free using the above code a couple of times a year.

Yeah, I mentioned that in the lower description. It looked like the success rate this time around was slim to none.

Appoftheday just worked for me, too, didn't need all caps. If you can't find it go to
settings -> Runtastic (scroll down) -> Enter Promotion Code.
I use Locus Pro because you can edit the start and end of your track after your run to trim off the bits where you might be walking to your start/finish. It's on half price at the moment but not for long.

Afaik the difference is that when you change your phone, app will not be in pro version any more. Spending 10p guarantees that it will be pro when you change phone etc. Unless someone proves me I'm wrong.

Yes, install the free version, go into settings and redeem APPOFTHEDAY and save yourself a whopping £0.10p  I would like to try the app properly and run again, but I had ankle and hip operations so them days are gone. But maybe the app is not just running, I will see. Good find, and nice to see a freebie every now and again.

Definitely worth a try and not a zero success rate as it worked as above for me too.

I don't even know what it does. I just think 10p seems like a good price.
I did laugh when I saw 'running', though. Because that happens.
