Got one but sending it back as the Plex app will not play a large portion of my Media library when even the NOW TV Boxes with Plex side loaded play them fine.
Shame as it was a really nice box, but as Plex is pretty important to me I'm going to pass.

Admin .. this Deal needs to be now expired, as Amazon site now has the same Product for £75 now?.
And not the £64.99, as originally Posted. :-)

Great deal and I was able to use 'NOWFIVE' to knock a fiver off for first prime now orders. Thanks OP

Glad that proved a winner for you there, as during the Black Friday Weekend whatsnots, I ordered a few thing's via an Amazon Prime 'Tryout', and tried the 'NOWFIVE' Code in BOTH lowercase and uppercase, but blatantly to no joy. :-(
Wanted to see if I could benefit from my £40+ orders at the time by an extra £5 being knocked off and stuff? (which would undoubtedly have come in very handy?!), but .....
What the hell, lol, my loss at the time clearly proved to be your gain much after it. :-)
I may try the 'NOWFIVE' thing again at a later date perhaps? (if, and/or when something notably suitable comes up and stuff ... ) :-)
But your Fire TV for just shy of £60 wasn't too bad going besides?. :-)

It will play the HEVC codec. I'm noticing a lot of streams starting to use that now even for 1080p. I'm thinking of getting one just for that option. I have the original and it doesn't play HEVC.

Still too expensive in my opinion.
Still using a RasPi2, I only stream BBC Iplayer and I use an external NAS loaded with content, for playback.

if you're happy with the firestick I'd say no, we have both (lounge Box and Stick upstairs). They share the same interface and features apart from the 4K... Box is quicker and has a Ethernet port so faster networking is available. Box comes with voice remote but we found it more of a gimmick than use.

any real point in getting this if I only have 1080p and already have a firestick?
