I actually just thought the same - I never knew you could buy a card at Clintons for that price - in fact, I've never seen a card being sold within that price range at any card shop in Exeter.

So basically price matching Card factory who charge 99p on the vast majority of their cards year round.

This will presumably include handmade cards and I'm guessing the cards that cost upwards of a tenner look a lot less cheap than the offerings at Card Factory. Not knocking Card Factory coz that's usually where I go but I don't think that what they sell is comparable to the likes of Clinton or WH Smith. They're just cheap and cheerful and, for the most part, they look it. Good deal.
