Seem to be a great deal but limited quantity and for a limited time.

It didn't help that they only originally earmarked it for release in America and Western Europe. It only received a Korean and Japanese launch 1 year later after people complained to Sega online.

why no news at all about this great game on official forums, who're down? no news from developer, no news from retailers etc...no news about maybe sequel? great game, played it 2-3 times on PS4

I would welcome a sequel but it was expensive to develop and apparently sales were below expectations.
If Sega/Creative are done with the licence my dream Aliens game would be developed by id Software. To keep costs down it could be released as a Doom expansion pack with action focused gameplay and a 5-6 hour campaign.

mmm sounds a bit too scary for me. I cr*pped myself playing the original Doom back in the day when a goblin bit me for the 1st time

Then you want to stay as far away from this as possible tbh.

I have been wanting this for ages. And today is my actual birthday so this deal feels made for me.
Will I be able to play through without leaving the room and turning all the lights on in the house... probably not.
But I'm buying it anyway. Heat from me. Ty op. :innocent: chuffed to bits.

Not ashamed to admit there was one moment where I involuntarily threw the controller about 3 feet in the air whilst being ambushed in one of the air vents

Great game.
The VR version isn't mythical...I played this start to finish exclusively on an Oculus Rift DK2. Awesome it was too...a truly memorable gaming experience. It is certainly not without its issues...the PC screens (within the game) look like they are about 2 inches from your nose, and playing with an Xbox controller takes getting used to with a FPS and VR. Coupled with a good set of headphones and turned up really loud, it's an entirely different experience from playing on a TV/monitor :-)

One of the best games in recent years. Keep going back to it. Be pretty great if it ever got that mythical VR conversion

It's a slow starter. First 2 missions are great cause you look at EVERYTHING seeing where they've taken influence and the care and attention that has gone in to it... Then the next 2 missions are a bore fest... From mission 4 or 5 onward (after you go to the medical wing if I recall correctly) it's a rollercoaster right the way to the end. Excellent game overall!!

Does the 10% winter sale code work? £6.61 would be a bargain (edit: no it doesn't)

Enjoyed this a lot more than I expected to. If I had one complaint, it's that it was a little too long.
