Voting cold simply because it's listed as an air fryer when its a halogen oven. Its like listing a kettle as a toaster!

You can buy a replacement bulb for it

It is a halogen oven and even the description says it's halogen on the website. Got the same one nearly 3 years ago from Aldi for £18 and the bulb has just broken. Unfortunately they wouldn't swap it for this, they would only refund the purchase. Seems a fairly decent price at the moment for one, but they may reduce in a few months if they don't sell.

Same size 17l with extender ring and all accessories? Very interesting. You were just lucky if that's true. Most expensive part is always heating element and if you would be more informed you would know that it fails very often.

Cool story bro.
Mine was £19 with 2 year warranty bought on eBay so again my original comment is correct it's cheaper on eBay and you also get warranty as for return fees most sellers cover costs and if not then £5 Hermes courier still means it's cheaper overall and just because you can return to Aldi in person doesn't make it free as not everyone lives closely to one so you have to take travel fees into question so again let me type this nice and clearly for you so you understand. This is not a deal they are cheaper on eBay and if you look accordingly many sellers offer warranty be it 1, 2 12 or 24 months so unless you're obsessed with this possibility breaking in year 3 of ownership and you dont know how to return an item online then buying this from Aldi should be a decision made lightly.
Ffs :disappointed:

You are some kind of special dont you? :man:
I was taking a ****. Usual warranty is ONE YEAR if you dont know. Most of time you have to pay return postage costs to seller which basically makes your fryer cost MORE where at Aldi you can just drop it off and sort it straight away. It can work 3 years or it can work 5 months. Usually things die after warranty and new heating element cost about 10 quid so it's not worth repairing/replacing. I feel like I'm writing to someone who can't think and read between lines. Is it that difficult to understand?

No you implied you don't get warranty on eBay which is wrong you do and you also made out its a £5 saving when it's actually more like £10. The fact is this is not a good deal in fact it's not even a deal at all.

Or perhaps people are happy to pay £19 which is what I paid for one off eBay with 24 months warranty and 1 year on it's still working just fine.

I got one of these a while ago, seems very good for cooking meat but not vegetables :disappointed:
Also I get the feeling the lamp may burn out in the future, anyone know how easy it is to replace?
My Parents have one of these and have used it for about two year, there very happy with it, just a halogen oven in reality. Also I have read the comments above, all I can say everyone, constructive criticism please

I have to laugh- if you want to get a deal profile for yourself on here just stick an Aldi or Lidl product and it will always get 100+ degrees. No disrespect to the OP but makes it a bit unfare to everyone searching to find a good deal to post!

Exactly you didn't say they would offer 3 years. Unless the ebay retailer does then your original comment about them offering a warranty is pretty much irrelevant if they can't match it.

Did I say ebay sellers don't give warranty? Nope. Learn to read before trying to be a smart pants :man:

I'm wondering if a post about the Metro newspaper being free would get more heat than deals like this these days.
Bought a JML Halogen Oven over 6 years ago for £25. This is the same thing and not in any way a deal.

its a halogen oven and its good if you buy mccain chips and not the cheap ones but is no good for homemade chips and you do have to check and time it yourself as it does not tell you anywhere in the manual how long for chips

well in that case it should be listed as a halogen oven and not a air fryer halogen ovens are similarly priced in most other shops aswell or less around 19.99 and that's local shops not ebay.

This isn't 2005 anymore. Lots of retailers on eBay offer warranty and to claim it will break just because it's not from Aldi is b011ocks.

Aldi gives you 3 years of warranty on most of things and it's easier to return. Good luck with warranty and postage costs ebay when you save 5 quid and your lamp will die.
