I'm 99% sure the sockets will be identical and they will be chrome vanadium in both sets. The screwdriver bits in your set may well be S2 and not in the other set.

I've got the lidl set that's why I ask, definitely worth the extra over a cheap ebay set imo

Not sure don't own either set. If you want the S2 bits (which will be the screwdriver accessories) then it may be worth grabbing the Lidl set. :smiley:
I found it for as little as £19.55 ... but that is an ebayer with zero feedback (but we all had to start somewhere)
There's another at £22.99 from a seller with several thousand feedback (99.4% positive) for those who may be dubious of a zero feedback seller.

The Halfords set. with a lifetime guarantee is a far superior product, if you can afford to pay £15 more.

Have to disagree, been using this set for years and the only time one set is better than the other is when the job is easier with 6 or 12 sided socket. The ratchet, fit and steel quality of this set is excellent.
