face cloth - like the ones u get the restaurant to wipe your face
hand towel - like the towels in the kitchen
bath towel - most commonly used to bathe
bath sheet - like the ones u lie on at the beach

I would recommend the hygro range from tesco i have one of hygro rest from bhs :disappointed: bhs have gone thin and tesco is still the same fluffy
