That charger is fine and the batteries included are a good quality I have some of the ReCyko Pro's myself. Just bear in mind for really high capacity AA batteries, "overnight" might actually mean 15+ hours.

To each is own, personally I am not a massive fan of ordering off eBay unless it's a local thing
anyone who's buying batteries, get it from eBay. Duracell industrial it's called, you can get in all sizes!I was frustrated with the shop bought batteries because of my xbox controller. I tried once these industrial ones, it lasted five times more, no kidding! and of course it's much cheaper as well. This is a good price, heat added as well, but it won't last like the industrial would.

Duracell Industrial (the new version of Procell) was exactly the same chemically as Duracell Plus (Now called Plus Power) - at least that was the case when P&G owned Duracell, might not be now. They are certainly always cheaper than the Duracell Plus are, cost a fortune in the supermarkets. Id recommend looking into GP Batteries, you can get a box of 24 GP Ultras for £5 both AA's and AAA's if you have a search online

Next best readycell from Home Baragains (6 for £1).
For a charger, Ikea do (or did) a 2 channel, delta v, 2 battery usb charger for £1.80. http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/products/lighting/batteries-chargers/vinninge-battery-charger-art-40303632/ I have 2 of them - not the fastest, but that is good for the battery.
You can also buy 40 AA alkaline batteries for £7.69, or 100 Maplin AA for £14.99 (greater quantities of batteries, though I don't know how individual battery life compares with single GP Ultra alkaline AAs).
You mention GP how about this?

GP Batteries VALUE PACK of 40 Ultra Alkaline AA batteries
Ok, it's £9.95, but you do get 40, and I find they are far better than the standard Duracell. Duracell Ultra are much better but more expensive. IMO of course.
