I have just purchased 4 packs, I don't think you can go wrong at £1 a pair ? they are good quality as I have had similar socks from M&S before.

I'm not too sure my wife would appreciate the washing!
She's not too pleased when she has to wash one pair at the end of the month!

But if you buy 14 pairs, you can bin 2 pairs after use and your wife can have a 2 month break from washing socks!!
Plus you'll end up with your required 12 pairs instead of 14!
