From today instore only 5ft Nordman Fir real Christmas trees £15 at B&Q. Click on the find a store link on the home page banner to see which stores are stocking them. The same sized Nordman fir in Homebase is £30 and 4ft - 5ft one is £20 so £15 is a great price from B&Q.
The Nordman fir is the original low needle drop tree and has the traditional conical Christmas tree shape with dense branches and they are grown in Scotland.
If watered well Nordman fir's will last 5 weeks whereas the Norway Spruce only last 3 and shed their needles a lot more.

I guess the stand is not included. Great if you got one at home but if not the situation might be quite complex
They do 4ft 3ft and 2ft at a push. You just need an extra £3 for a handsaw

The lack of stand is a good point, however I suspect they might be providing a "plinth" type arrangement.. Christmas tree farm down the road chops the base and sticks it in a log for you. These last ages if you water them though.

How do you confirm a particular store stocks these?

£3 cheaper at JTF if you're near one, plus they are "5 to 6ft" although I easily found a couple over 7ft

Or buy one from your local Forestry Commission outlet and support sustainable Forestry instead.

There are 4 trees advertised on the site - this one, a small one, a medium one and a large one. I'm not sure really if this is the correct description for this tree - I'm wondering if it is perhaps one around 3ft tall instead of 5ft perhaps? Perhaps if anybody picks one up tomorrow they can let us know?

just picked one of these up. actually very good, and genuinely look like the picture which is unusual! they had netted ones for £15, and open ones where you could choose them before netting for £20.
