This offer is user dependent. I have used it before.

I'm guessing this is working differently for different people as I don't see the banner if I go to the Play store.

If I click the 'Get Deal' link on a desktop or mobile device it takes me to the Music section of the Play Store and shows the offer however the prices are not halved, either on the search results or if I try to purchase it. There is also no button to accept the offer.

Under Account -> Rewards the offer is not listed.

I've checked this from three different Android devices and accounts and it's the same for all of them.

After you've clicked on the banner check in account/rewards and it should show it there. The price drops when you pay.

@metronome the price should drop at the payment stage if you add it, did with me on a subscription.

if you dont have Play music subscription, as soon as you click the get deal button you will see everything half price for example Now 95 will show up automatically in the store as £1.99. If you have music subscription you're outta luck... I just phoned Google support to ask em to fix it :disappointed:

There was an offer from PayPal the other day, 2quud off a purchase from Google which I redeemed but forgot about, so a six quid album only cost me a pound thanks for the heads up

Added something to basket, no discount showing...

I got a banner for 4 months free trial of Play Music instead. I'd have liked to buy a half price album though but can only see the banner when I click the deal link and no discount applied when I go to buy an album.

Showing NOW 95 as £3.99 for me is the discount applied after you have paid? Had a 3 month Google Play trial that ended earlier this month so wonder if I'm not eligible.

When I try to buy it does not apply 50% discount, just 10% for play music membership. Had similar issue with 99p rental that it applies 75% off offer I already have saved to my account. Not happy!
