It really annoys me inside when people on this site use the word glitch to describe a deal. its beyond stupid

its really annoys me inside and outside when someone feels they have to comment on something that has absolutely nothing to do with the deal. Oops

that is just the stranded insulation in the middle green plug, not conductor  if a stepper driver goes bang a new control PCB is only about £20

I just one of these and having problems with it , when first turned it on , the wiring was all wrong as it was in a different language and wording you had to guess , once sorted out it smoked for the first few mins , after that I thought everything was good was I wrong , software doesn't work , when printing I have to do everything to sd card , which in one way is good cos I can turn my pc off when again it's on 24/7 , at the moment I'm fighting with the person to sort it out , yet they are willing to send me a new one I have to un build the old one which in fairness took me all of 4 hours , then I have to pay £10 for it to be sent back , at the moment I have printed out a few good little things , but still i can't get it to print big items :disappointed:

Just be sure that it's the correct EU voltage (230V) rather than US (110V)

seems if you change to u.s. plug it comes up cheaper. eu plug £140 ...us plug £125

What worries me more would be the connectors at the bottom seems like its too easy to touch the springs that hold the wires in as they are not covered at all. If buying please make sure you know about electric and don't think of it as a toy.

Pretty much all 3D printer boards have a SD card slot of some kind, I've no idea what you're trying to tell us here.
dannykerner1990

There is a card slot on the motherboard as well so wasn't really designed to be used on this

Human error would be a better description than glitch. All it takes is someone entering a wrong figure and bang a bargain only if they honour

We have a 3D printer at work and its really useful and convenient when you have to design and knock up some one off pieces. But despite this i'm still unsure what I would use it for at home if I ever got one.

Not a clue what you'd use these for just yet but for pure fun it looks good.

That's not dangerous wiring. That is the heater block wire, its like covered in cotton and it's just frayed that's not copper exposed. If you get what I mean
Joe909090 to Brettman123

Zoom in, there's a mixture of copper (see left hand side of middle plug for example) and the coated cotton. The obvious give away is the shiney copper vs the red coated cotton.
In addition this board has the stepper drivers hardwired, blow one and you're either going to have to be good at surface mount soldering, or you buy a new controller board.

It's been this price for a while. Bought one 6 weeks ago for the same price. Great printer and quality of prints for the money. Before you buy, check out the Facebook group dedicated to this printer which will give you an idea of how rewarding yet temperamental other users find it.

Here is my design for a pikachu keychain I designed Pikachu keychain
N.B. There's a mixture of copper (the metal looking stuff) and the red coated cotton frayed.
