I know but if you read the reviews some say the PIR doesnt work too well if at all. So this plus a PIR and being able to put the light maybe further up the wall and the PIR near to a door etc might be better for some

I was going to vote hot for this: it is a fairly good deal (I suppose it saves about a fiver on the £21.75 price against a similar item from Screwfix &c, so it is a good but not exceptional price), but I didn't like the OP's needlessly aggressive attitude, so I have decided not to.

I saw a similar one in poundland, it was not 30 watts though. Not sure if that would make a difference

I just want to point out this is a seller on Amazon. He might be reliable but with only 6 reviews it is hard to make an informed decision also the 36m waranry would be with the seller -nanchengqu hongfulu hongfulousilou Ahao

Does a feedback of 6 fit the criteria, it shouldn't

Amazon is showing two 30w models, this one is made of plastic and the other aluminium. Which is better?

going by the dodgy wiring on the lights on amazon I wouldn't buy any but if you have to, go for plastic and check the earth is connected.
You saw what? a light a goat what, i bet it wasnt this exact light a 30 watt slim sensor light with a 3 year warranty it was probably whats been posted earlier a fat 10 watt light.

the cable length is a joke. at least its enough yo get through a wall and cut the plug off.

The cable is more than long enough to go through a wall into the house as i needed to cut the plug off to do thatthis most lights today only have 30cm this has around 1 meter of cable and its not rocket science to put your own cable in, i also contacted the seller and he confirmed cutting the plug off wont affect the warranty. It gets me how people always find away to put a deal down, for what it is its cracking quality.

The cable length. Best practice would be to use a junction box anyway.
