Let's call it by its real name, Adaptive Refresh, AMD's implementation of that is Freesync - and Intel will support adaptive refresh very soon too, and it'll be part of the display port 1.3 standard, so hopefully 2017 we'll see all monitors support it, and nvidia will be forced to support it too! (I am truly hoping that will happen as I find myself too cheap to pay £450 for a gsync monitor :P )

Nvidia should migrate to Freesync or allow their cards to output both.

If you've not got £300 to spend on a decent graphics card this will still be splendid due to the res and effects at ultra in modern games :wink:

A lot of Pro gamers keep to lower rez screens to keep their fps as high as possible; the 4K gaming screen I have seen are a gimmick as they top out at 60Hz.
Be careful when buying a benQ gaming screen, the BenQ "Zowie" range have identical names to their main stream gaming monitors, but are a lot cheaper - because they are only 60Hz and meant for console gamers.
