I'm actually quite impressed with Farm foods frozen meat. Thought it'd be awful but not the case.

for stir fries and casseroles, they will do the job. Heck a local Indian takeaway near me, tends to use these in there food.

Is this just pure chicken or is there other junk in it eg water, glucose, salts etc

The smaller 800g ones that have always been 2 for £5 are 77% chicken content if this is anything to go by. Don't even look like chicken so haven't even tried them. They had Irn Bru ice lollies for 10p the other week going out of date which I favoured over the chicken.

More like big chunks of frozen yogurt. Like chicken that's been blended then reshaped badly.

If you pay £5 for 2kg of chicken breast expect garbage, fair enough if this doesn't bother you or is necessary price wise for your budget, however don't expect good meat and kid yourself other wise, quality and welfare wise this is junk IMO.

I've had these before and when cooked they don't actually have the texture of chicken, they feel like you're biting rubber

I tried them for around six months solid and the quality is very hit and miss. But more times than not they were very rubbery and an unusual aftertaste. But when They are good they are very good and excellent value
