Not a bad price. Although punk IPA is £1.50 in asda and im sure other brewdog bottles are £1.50 aswell

This price makes them £1.33, which is even cheaper! And you won't get Jack Hammer for less than £2.
Good price, OP, although I would have preferred Elvis Juice!

Shame morrisons don't sell jackhammer on its own

For some reason I was thinking this was a 10 pack so yeah it is a good price. Not tried Elvis juice but my local Morrison's does it and it's in the 4 for £6.

Although this is a saving on individual bottles, this has been at this price for a while, so not strictly a deal.:man:

Why is this a deal? This is the standard price all the time in store.

I was surprised when I saw the price and so where others it seems so it *feels* like a deal and technically is comparing the price to individual bottles.

It's nice, tastes like a sharper, stronger version of Punk

Great stuff - very bitter. I put it in my top 10 beers

Jack hammer is decent if a little sharp. Get this pack quite often. Really nice stuff.

Note these are the 330ml bottles, not the 1 pint/500ml ones.

Wasn't aware brewdog did pint or 500ml bottles. As far as I recall, they only do 330ml or 660ml bottles anyway.

I'm sure this box was priced at £12 in Sainsburys at the weekend - worth checking there as well......

Been this price for a while but makes up for it with the Jackhammer (never seen it lower than £2.50).
They also do a Goose Island pack for £12 with has 4x Goose Island IPA 4x Honkers Ale and 4x Urban Wheat 312 (I think that's all the right info for the pack)

Morrisons is pretty good for 'craft beers' generally doing 4 for £6. Current favourite is Lagunitas IPA.
Was a fan of Punk until they started to brew it offsite. Same happened to Thornbridge Jaipur - some how doesn't look or taste the same and is inconsistent when on draft.

Where do they brew it offsite, never heard that before?

Unlike yourself, I only rely on my tastebuds in determining whether I like what I'm drinking. Last time I checked Punk and Jaipur looked like beer! What more do you need? Granted it is a bit disappointing that my closest Jaipur stockist, i.e. Tesco, only has the 330ml, but it is a nice drop! :man:

There's a lot more to a good beer than just taste. Keep working on it. I'm sure you'll get there

Originally brewed in Fraserburgh but moved the 'mass production' of it to Ellon in 2012. They still brew it - but IMHO its never been the same since.

Originally brewed in the old Thornbridge Hall then moved packaging process off site to industrial estate in Bakewell around 2009.

As I hadn't had the pleasure pre-2009 in this case ignorance is bliss!

I'm pretty sure it's always this price....at least has been for more than 3 months in my Msons...
I dislike Jack Hammer, it's just too bitter for my taste! I tried Mr. President the other day, that was around the 8% mark and much smoother.
Slightly off-topic - can anyone recommend some other brands that are similar to Elvis Juice (my current fave) and Punk ?

OK I know that, but it's not what you implied which sounded like they'd sub contracted it rather than moved site. The original recipe for punk did change, but I think that was before 2012. I know some people say it was better.

Fair enough but if comparing these with other brews, many of which are in 500ml bottles, it helps to know what size they are.
