you know what that is a very good point, I would guess that there is a way to have the app to recognise that it is safe. also my brother successfully installed rom after unlocking what came with it out of the box. now has everything that a nexus 5x would

I didn't pay any import duty or tax. It's rare to have to pay them on items from banggood, gearbest etc. if you stick to the basic tracked shipping, but generally if you spring for faster delivery through DHL or similar you're more likely to be hit with import duty

I'm waiting for 2nd hand s7 for 305.99 from o2. But actually I might just get this. The camera needs to be pretty much as good as the s7 in normal lightinf to get this. The s7 does mor frames for slow motion though right?

These are great phones, I have a Mi5. No band 20 support is the only downside but unlike some phones with good specs these are seriously well made and look and feel like a premium product

Absolutely amazing price. I paid the same for the xiaomi mi5 (no s) a few months ago, really tempting to upgrade at that price.
I believe this has the same camera sensor as the pixel and everyone is raving about how good it's camera is.

That doesn't make much sense if that were the case. Perhaps in comparison to a phone with B20 support, it would be seemingly poorer since the B20 phone would get a signal boost, whereas the non B20 phone would remain the same. EE wouldn't be rolling out B20 by sacrificing or switching off the coverage of their existing frequencies so a non B20 phone shouldn't be affected. If anything there'd be a slight improvement since it could mean phones with 800mhz would use that frequency and free up the traffic on the existing frequencies.

The Blu phone has a mediatek P10 processor and poor quality camera (pixel count isn't everything) where as this phone has THE BEST processor on the market in the 821?!

Not that most people would need it, but the BLU VIVO 6 has a microSD slot
unlike the Xiaomi, so possibly worth considering?

Id say this is better in terms of specs and 32GB of non expandable memory is a bit annoying...S6 is 1 and a half years old now, but always that risk when importing such a costly item from China

Used banggood a lot for small bits and pieces and never had a problem. Delivery from 1-21/2 weeks. I had contacted them after 3weeks of a small amp not arriving and they fast tracked a replacement that day only for the original one to turn up a few days later. I contacted them to say I had received 2 and they said to keep it. I guess with larger value items warranty might be a bit hit or miss but from my experience the technical support had been great and customer service even better.
